#TheValley twist! Jax Taylor confirms he’s BACK next season… after telling everyone he quit 😱 - suong

Jax Taylor Suggests His Exit From The Valley is “Just a Pause" and Was a Mutual Decision as He Shares More Insight Into Why He LeftJax Taylor suggested his exit from The Valley was a mutual decision with production. But the 46-year-old also explained that it’s “just a pause,” and he shared more insight into why he left.

In the current season, Jax’s divorce from Brittany Cartwright became the central storyline. During his stay in rehab for a cocaine addiction, Brittany filed for divorce as her friends supported her. She and Jax had several intense fights in the season, and many co-stars fiercely defended her. Then, earlier this month, Jax shared that he was leaving the show to focus on his recovery.

On his In the Mind of Jax Taylor podcast, Jax shared more details behind his exit.

“Myself, my team, the producers got together,” he said, suggesting it was a mutual decision. “We decided to take a beat/break from season three.”

But Jax clarified that it isn’t permanent.

“This is not goodbye. This is kind of just a pause,” he explained. “The more I talk about it with everybody, it just didn’t seem to make a lot of sense for me to walk right back into filming. And I just don’t see a world where it makes complete sense for me to walk back into a dynamic like that.”

A few weeks ago, Jax confirmed his exit from the show.

“After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I’ll be stepping away from the next season of The Valley,” he told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz.”

Around the same time, fans started a Change.org petition to get Jax fired.

“Jax Taylor, a prominent figure in reality television, particularly known for his role in the popular series Vanderpump Rules, has repeatedly exhibited behavior that is deeply concerning and offensive,” said the petition.

It continued, “His actions have not only disrespected individuals and communities, but they also perpetuate harmful stereotypes, bullying, and negativity that have no place in today’s progressive society … It is crucial that networks and producers take responsibility by disengaging from promoting such behavior.”
