Gael Cameron Gives Birth to Her Baby Boy with Nathan Gallagher: "Welcome to the World"

Gael Cameron has welcomed her first child with boyfriend Nathan Gallagher, a baby boy. Gael confirmed the happy news on her Instagram Stories on June 24. 

In the social media post confirming the baby's birth, Gael shared a photo of herself with Nathan and their baby. "Welcome to the world my love," she captioned the photo, which Nathan reshared to his account. The couple didn't post additional details about their new family member, like the baby's name, yet.

The Australian and the Irishman met on Season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean. The pair broke up after the season wrapped, but they later got back together. Since then, they've chronicled their international adventures — and Gael's pregnancy — online.

The baby's birth comes just weeks after the couple hosted a baby shower to celebrate the tot's imminent arrival. "A day we’ll never forget," the couple wrote on Instagram about the special day earlier in June. "Thank you to everyone who helped make our baby shower so special. Can’t be more grateful for the people we have in our lives and get to share with our baby boy."

Details on Gael and Nathan's pregnancy announcement
Gael announced her pregnancy in March 2025 by sharing a sweet video on Instagram. "Yep, you saw that right…" she wrote in the caption of her announcement post, which tagged Nathan as well. "Now go ahead and speculate." 

Nathan commented, "Excitement is real" underneath the post. Below Deck Mediterranean chief stew Aesha Scott added, "BEYOND HAPPYYYY" in a comment of her own. 

Gael later issued an exclusive statement to The Daily Dish about the exciting news. "We’re beyond excited to share our adventures with our tiny travel buddy," she said. 

How Gael and Nathan revealed the sex of their baby
Shortly after confirming her pregnancy, Gael shared that she and Nathan were expecting a baby boy. The two had a picnic on the beach featuring confetti poppers and blue-colored smoke to learn the news. 

"The moment our hearts grew even bigger," Gael wrote alongside the video of the reveal, which took place on Valentine's Day. "Our little boy. We can’t wait to share our world, our laughter, and all of life’s wild adventures with you, little one. Our greatest journey yet is just beginning."

Details on Gael's third trimester
Since sharing the exciting news, Gael has kept her followers up to date on her pregnancy on her Instagram feed. 

On April 7, she posted two photos of her baring her bump. "Me, bub, and a dose of morning sunshine," she captioned the post, before adding, "Little bump update: Surviving on naps and snacks, while lil man has hourly dance parties."

Just two days later, she reflected on her pregnancy as she confirmed that she was in her third trimester. "Growing you has been the hardest and most beautiful thing I’ve ever done," she shared. "Every kick, every change, every tough day... it’s all leading to you. I can’t wait to meet the little boy who’s already changed everything."

Days before giving birth and after they hosted their baby shower in mid June, the couple shared photos of themselves dancing together as well as taking in their last days before they welcomed their baby, captioning the snapshots, "Our last dance, just the two of us."

When did Nathan Gallagher and Gael Cameron start dating?
 

When Nathan and Gael first met on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, she was in a relationship with someone she had met on her previous boat. 

The two struck up a flirtation, and Gael eventually ended her off-boat romance. The two became a couple during the season, and they spent time traveling together after the cameras dropped. However, their relationship soon came to an end.

Gael and Nathan confirmed their reconciliation in September 2024, after Season 9 finished airing.
