Janet Caperna addressed her drama with Danny Booko, Nia Sanchez-Booko, and Zack Wickham on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday night.
After putting a spotlight on Danny’s drinking and comparing him to an ex who struggled with addiction to Nia, 35, on the latest episode of The Valley, Janet, 34, revealed a text she received from Jax Taylor, 45, in rehab, teased the upcoming reunion, and reacted to being labeled a Vanderpump Rules “fan” while confirming how much the gay guy sent Jesse Lally, 45, and more.
“He took a swig from a warm bottle of tequila in the pantry,” Janet said of Danny, 41, on the May 20 episode of WWHL after being asked if she exaggerated his drinking in Santa Barbara. “[He took] three glugs. When you’re drinking warm tequila … three swallows. Something like that.”
Then, when 89% of the audience voted that they were not concerned about his drinking, she hinted, “It might change.”
Looking back at Nia opening up about her past homelessness and childhood trauma, Janet admitted, “I was glad to see her open up and be honest. It helped all of us understand her a little bit better.”
During her conversation with Nia, Janet had mentioned Danny’s drinking. And, while she felt she was “coming from a good place” at the time, she confessed to feeling she was a bit harsh on WWHL.
“Watching it back, I do think I was a little bit harsh and my delivery was not great. So maybe I do owe her an apology,” she stated.
While appearing on last week’s WWHL, Danny described Janet as a toxic individual. And, during Tuesday’s episode, a fan wanted to know how Janet felt about the diss and what she thought Danny was responding to.
“I thought that that was harsh, and I think somebody who’s toxic is somebody who puts their hands on women without consent. I think he’s reacting to me reacting to him,” she replied.
Moving on to Jax, Janet confirmed a text from Jax amid his rehab stay.
“He was very upset that we, which you see in the preview, overtook his bar for a night. He was very upset about that,” she shared.
As for the reunion, Janet described the taping as “crazy.”
“I thought it was very fair. I left feeling really good about certain things and not so great about others, but I thought it was very fair,” she explained.
Following the airing of last week’s fight between Jesse and Michelle Saniei, 36, Janet admitted to suspecting Jesse still has feelings for his ex.
“Yes … She’s over it. He’s not,” she declared.
Then, when asked about Zack feeling like Brittany Cartwright, 36, betrayed him by telling her about his blackout comments, Janet shared her thoughts.
“The blackout comments were not whispered to Brittany privately. They were screamed across a bar in front of other people, so I think Brittany told me because she thought other people would tell me, and it would be best coming from her,” Janet stated.
Amid a game in which a “Truth Bomb” was dropped, Janet was asked a series of rapid-fire questions about whether she was a fan of Pump Rules. And, while she admitted that she was, saying, “Who isn’t?,” she denied ever applying to work at SUR and insisted she did not move to Los Angeles to infiltrate the cast.
“I wanna say yes because that would make such a good story, so I wish that was true, but unfortunately it was just [Scheana Shay] and I met and got along really well,” she explained.
As for the pool party she attended, where she met and befriended Scheana, 40, Janet said, “I did not know she was going to be there,” and added that it was not “an advertised event.”
Janet then confirmed she’s met Lisa Vanderpump, 64, and revealed if she’s insulted by the “fan” title.
“I kind of, a little bit, but I kind of love it for Scheana because she deserves to have a superfan,” she reasoned.
Also on the live broadcast, after saying that Michelle texted her a screenshot of the Venmo transfer Jesse received from the gay guy and confirming it was in the amount of $2,500, Janet reacted to Kristen suggesting she had changed since joining The Valley.
“I think that that’s a cheap blow. I think she knows who I am, and when we started filming, a lot had happened in our friendship leading up to that that wasn’t that shown, so it was more me reacting to that than the cameras,” she explained.
Janet also added that she and Kristen bonded during their Santa Barbara trip.
“We actually had a little moment, you don’t see it, but we’ve had a couple of moments in Santa Barbara where I’ve felt like we were getting along,” she shared.
The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
