Taylor Ann Green lashed out at Shep Rose with a series of posts to her Instagram Story after seeing that he’d suggested her family wishes she was still with him on Southern Charm.
As she opened up about the “boundaries” she set for Shep, 44, after their July 2022 split and dished on her future with boyfriend Gaston Rojas, the 30-year-old Bravo star slammed Shep as “delusional” as she reminded him of how much he cheated on her throughout their two-year romance.
“Yeah, I’m gonna pop off here for a second, publicly. Let me shout from the mountain tops that both my parents, my grandparents, and yes, even my recently late grandfather all couldn’t be happier that I’ve moved on and am in a much better, happier, and healthier relationship,” Taylor declared in her first post on December 6. “So this comment. SENDS me. What planet do you live on bro…”
Then, in a second, Taylor wrote. “You cheated on me [four] times (that I know of) and you think my family wishes I was still with you???? DELUSIONAL.”
“And thank GOD I’m everything your ‘girlfriend’ isn’t. I want nothing to do with you. Leave me and my relationship alone. I will not stand for this,” she added.
In a sneak peek at the December 12 episode of Southern Charm, Shep weighed in on Taylor’s new relationship.
“He kind of looks like a villain from the Bourne Identity. I can see him screwing on a silencer and like, breaking into a room,” Shep stated.
He then signaled the alleged wishes of Taylor’s family.
“I know that her mom and dad wish she was still with me … And her grandfather and grandmother and her whole family,” he claimed.
Shep also gushed over his then-flame, Sienna Evans, 26.
“Sienna’s very smart and driven and independent … She got into medical school. She’s a lot of things that Taylor wasn’t,” he noted.
During an interview prior to calling Shep out on her Instagram Story, Taylor admitted she went into filming season 10 with a “whole different mindset” after learning to be more “balanced and grounded” through therapy and kept a distance between herself and her ex.
“My boundaries definitely have changed since last season,” Taylor told Us Weekly on December 5. “I was kind of all over the place just with my emotions and thinking that Shep and I were going to get back together, which is bizarre.”
“There’s no need to have a relationship with my ex-boyfriend. It’s just disrespectful to myself and it’s also disrespectful to my current relationship,” she continued.
Taylor also said that there was no need for Shep and Gaston to interact and revealed that the only interaction they’ve ever had was at BravoCon.
Although Taylor no longer has Shep blocked on her phone, she doesn’t have his number.
“But please don’t contact me. If you contact me, continue to contact me, I will block you again,” she warned.
Moving on to her new romance, Taylor said she’s in “such a happy place.”
“I’m very happy with the person that I’m with,” she declared.
As for their future, Taylor said she and Gaston won’t move in together until they are engaged.
“So we’re definitely taking the next step forward, and we’ve been talking about that extensively, so things are really great,” she confirmed. “He knows more about rings than I do, and he loves children. He is so ready to have a family and just have his person and do life with his person, and I’m also ready to do that.”
Though Taylor noted that Gaston would not be appearing full-time on Southern Charm, he was further discussed on season 10 due to the addition of his former flame, Salley Carson, 29, who caused a stir amongst the cast.
“Having someone come in who I don’t really know and is trying to ruffle the feathers of everyone was a bit frustrating. But that’s probably the only person that really did that,” she explained. “[And] that was not an issue between Gaston and I. It was just kind of like that annoying gnat where you’re just like, ‘Get out of here. Stop. Just stop.’”
