Tamra Judge defends her behavior toward Shannon Beador following her DUI and says that the truth will play out on season 18 of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
Some fans called out Tamra Judge for being a bad friend to co-star Shannon Beador after Bravo shared the first seven minutes of the Real Housewives of Orange County’s season 18 premiere.
In the teaser, Shannon Beador gets candid about her September 2023 DUI as the rest of the RHOC cast reacts to the shocking news.
As Tamra, Shannon, and the rest of the RHOC cast shared the clip on social media, fans had mixed reactions. Some fans supported Tamra’s honesty and realness with Shannon, while others felt she wasn’t a supportive friend to Shannon.
“Tamra took [Shannon’s DUI] incident and ran with it to make it a storyline. @Tamrajudgeoc a true friend would tell Shannon this behind [the] cameras and then tell her she needs help and still be there for her,” one fan shared on Twitter.
The 56-year-old RHOC star defended herself and told fans to “stay tuned” to see the whole story unfold.
“Stay tuned. You haven’t seen everything yet. I did tell her in private, right after the DUI, that this was a wake-up call and she needed help. But she turned on me because she didn’t like what I had to say,” Tamra Judge replied.
Tamra then said that Shannon “should of checked herself into rehab.”
“I refuse to enable this behavior,” she added.
Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County premieres on Bravo Thursday, July 11, at 9 p.m. ET.
