“Summer House” star Amanda Batula shared she has baby fever.
During a December 2024 interview with OK! Magazine, Batula noted that she and her husband, Kyle Cooke‘s “Summer House” castmate Lindsay Hubbard welcomed her first child, Gemma, earlier this month. Batula also confirmed that Hubbard’s new addition made her feel “baby fever.”
“Nothing is hotter than when I see Kyle holding a baby,” said Batula to the publication.
Batula clarified that while she and Cooke are “constantly getting updates” about Gemma, they have not spent time with Hubbard’s baby, whom she shares with her boyfriend, Dr. Turner Kufe.
“As much as I feel like it’s our baby, it is her baby. Hopefully, after the holidays, once little Gemma gets a little bit older, we can finally go over for a visit and just hang out with mom a bit,” said Batula.
Kyle Cooke & Amanda Batula Said That They Are Too Busy to Have Children at the Moment
During a joint November 2024 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cooke and Batula, who wed in September 2021, shared if they plan on having children anytime soon.
“We’re booked and busy. No plans for kids yet. We know we want them eventually. But I feel like we have so much going on right now that we’re kind of hitting our stride in a few things. And it’ll happen,” said Batula during the interview.
Cooke also said he is focused on his company Loverboy and his DJing career.
“When I’m a dad I don’t want to be an absentee dad. So I’m kind of getting all the travels and all the hard work, hopefully, under my belt. And out of the way. By the time we’re ready,” said Cooke to the publication.
Amanda Batula Said She Was Unsure if Her Husband Feels Ready to Become a Father in April 2024
While speaking to Us Weekly in April 2024, Batula said she is interested in becoming a parent “within the next couple of years.” She also shared she is unsure if Cooke feels ready to become a father.
“I want to think that he’ll be ready when it happens. I think Kyle has historically always felt that he needed everything lined up. When it was like getting married, getting engaged, getting an apartment. I think he always felt like he needed to be 100 percent ready for it — like prepared,” said Batula to Us Weekly.
She then joked that she will “have to like trick him into getting [her] pregnant and he’s going to thrive once it happens.”
