Kyle Cooke sees children in his and Amanda Batula’s “imminent” future.
Kyle Cooke sees kids in his future.
The “Summer House” star spoke to Page Six exclusively Thursday about his and wife Amanda Batula’s “imminent” plans to start a family.
“I want kids,” Cooke, 42, told us at Us Weekly’s Reality Stars of the Year party when asked whether his co-star Lindsay Hubbard’s pregnancy had “inspired” him.
The reality star told Page Six exclusively Thursday that he “want[s] kids.”
The couple is trying to “sort a few things out” before conceiving, Cooke explained.
“I think you’ll see this past season that we just wrapped, Amanda and I [are] trying to figure out what’s next,” the DJ continued, adding that he has “a lot going on.”
However, Cooke noted, “As my mom would say, ‘You can’t time things perfectly.’ You know, there’s never going to be a right time.”
With that in mind, he clarified, “I would say it’s pretty imminent. But I’m trying to sort a few things out.”
Cooke noted that there “is never going to be a right time.”
He gave Lindsay Hubbard “a lot of credit” for filming “Summer House” while pregnant.
Cooke and Batula, 33, met and started dating in 2015, tying the knot six years later at her family’s home in New Jersey.
In November 2023, Batula told People that she and her husband were only “practicing” making a baby since they were “preoccupied” with their dogs.
“We’ll eventually be ready for kids,” she said at the time.
Before the show, Cooke had “never been around someone pregnant consistently.”
He began dating Batula in 2015.
Meanwhile, Hubbard, 38, announced in July that she is expecting her first child in the wake of her and ex-fiancé Carl Radke’s breakup.
Cooke gave the expectant star “a lot of credit” for filming Season 9 with a little one on the way.
“She hung out with us,” he shared. “You’re dealing with all sorts of hormonal things [when pregnant], and she wasn’t as activated as you might think. She was a lot of fun.”
The couple wed in 2021 in New Jersey.
Batula previously said she would “eventually be ready for kids.”
Cooke noted, “I’ve never been around someone pregnant consistently. … And, like, you can just watch [her stomach] get bigger.”
As for Hubbard’s partner, Turner Kufe, Cooke said he “respect[s]” the private doctor for staying out of the spotlight since being identified over the summer.
He called Kufe, who works in biotech investing, “career-driven” and gushed, “I think he’s a stand-up gentleman.”
