Claudia Winkleman, the beloved TV presenter known for her roles on Strictly Come Dancing, The Traitors, and Channel 4's The Piano, has candidly opened up about her career and personal life. Despite her presence on television, Claudia admits fearing she could be out of work at any moment.
She told The Sunday Times: "I'll blink and someone else will have my job," but remains unfazed about the prospect of her career ending, saying: "That's fine. I'll have my dog."
Her affection for her spaniel cross, Skip, is undeniable as she also shared: "He's divine. I French kiss him. I licked his entire tongue once."
Her family initially resisted the idea of getting a dog, citing their lack of a garden and belief that they weren't a 'dog family'. Claudia recalls their reaction: "They all said, 'absolutely not mum, we're just not a dog family. We don't have a garden, so it's not fair on the dog'."
However, six months after conceding to their point of view, Claudia surprised them by bringing home a puppy, much to their horror.
She remembers, "I'm the laziest person in the world. I've never hung up a towel.", reports Lancs Live.
Her appearances include This Morning, Comic Relief's Fame Academy, The House of Tiny Tearaways and many more. While it's conceivable that someone might "have her job," one day, it seems improbable that anyone else could juggle all these roles as she does.
