Southern Charm’s Shep Rose is Spotted in NYC With CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, See Pic as Eyewitness Details “Date” and Hints at Drama With Austen - lulu

Shep Rose may have a new woman in his life.

Just over a year after he and Taylor Ann Green, 28, parted ways following two years of dating, the Southern Charm cast member, 42, was spotted in New York City with a dark-haired woman believed to be CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins, 31.

“[Kaitlan] Collins and Shep Rose dining alone outside at Fairfax in the West Village right now,” an eyewitness wrote to Deux Moi on Instagram, along with a photo of the potential couple walking together.

“[I] heard a tiny bit of their convo. He said he didn’t find out until [six] months later when he watched the show. She asked well are you still friends with [Austen Kroll], he begrudgingly said yes. [It] seemed like they didn’t know each other that well … First date vibes maybe,” they continued.

While the insider didn’t say what Shep was mad at from last season, he may have a bone to pick with Austen, 36, on the upcoming ninth season, especially if Austen truly hooked up with Taylor amid production, as was reported earlier this year.

As for Shep’s potential love interest, Brynn Whitfield is sure to be disappointed to hear the news as she made advances toward him just weeks ago on an episode of Watch What Happens Live.

As fans may have seen, the Real Housewives of New York City star, 36, told host Andy Cohen, 55, that she felt they’d be a good match.

“I think Shep’s cute. It takes one commitment-phobe to know another commitment-phobe. What’s he like in real life?” she asked Andy, who said Shep is “exactly as he appears.”

“Perfect,” Brynn replied. “I like Southern Charm. I’m from Indiana. Midwest and the down south, we play it dirty.”

And after the official WWHL Instagram page shared a clip of the moment, Shep weighed in.

“Oh well that’s certainly nice to hear. Thanks for thinking of me Brynn,” he told the RHONY castmate.
