Skip Bayless makes a bizarre plea to Josh Allen to help him save Tom Brady

NFL commentator Skip Bayless has made a very odd and pointed request of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen which is linked to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.Josh Allen and Tom Brady

The entire NFL world seems to be raging against the Chiefs right now as Kansas City try to secure yet another Super Bowl. It would be their third in a row, and it would mean a huge amount for the legacy of quarterback Mahomes.

Allen actually has a very good regular season record against Mahomes, holding a 4-1 lead over his fellow quarterback. In the playoffs, though, it is a different story as he has never beaten Mahomes.

The two sides are going to come up against each other next, and Bayless now thinks that it is Allen's responsibility to stop Mahomes winning another Super Bowl so that Tom Brady's legacy as the best quarterback of all time is protected.

Bayless' odd request

Skip requested on his podcast, The Skip Bayless Show: "Hey Josh Allen, I need you, brother. I need you right here, right now, this Sunday at Arrowhead. I need you to help save Tom Brady's legacy from Patrick Mahomes. This is driving me nuts. You've got to help save Tom Brady's GOAT legacy from Patrick Mahomes."

Winning the Super Bowl again would be Mahomes' fourth, and the belief is that given his age of 29, he still has around six years to keep on winning as long as the conditions are right.

Staring down the barrel of constant Chiefs domination, many people are desperate for the Bills to beat them just so that somebody else can get their hands on the trophy.

"Think about this, Josh: You're 4-1 against Mahomes in the regular season. You beat him this year in Buffalo. You're 3-0 at Arrowhead in the regular season. You're only a 1.5-point underdog at Arrowhead. But you're 0-3 in the playoffs against Patrick Mahomes, and that has to stop right here, right now," Bayless continued.
