Sports analyst Skip Bayless had his X account hacked earlier in the week. Bayless has access to his account now, and he has a wild belief about Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones in Week 10.
The 3-5 Cowboys are set to play the 6-2 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Per NFL Media, quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a partial avulsion injury (hamstring tendon partially tore off the bone) during the Cowboys' 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. It's unclear if the issue is season-ending, but he will miss multiple weeks.
The Cowboys are set to start veteran backup quarterback Cooper Rush against the Eagles. Dallas made Rush's life a little easier for the matchup this week, as they sent a 2025 fourth-round pick to the Carolina Panthers for wide receiver Jonathan Mingo and a 2025 seventh-round pick before Tuesday's trade deadline.
Despite giving him a receiver this week, Bayless wrote on X that he believes Jones is cheering for Rush to fail.
"Cooper Rush is Jerry Jones' worst nightmare," Bayless posted. "I believe Jerry will be privately rooting against him. I also will not be at all surprised if Cooper Rush beats the Eagles, just as he beat the Bengals (who were coming off a Super Bowl) in his first start for Dak in 2022."
Rush has made six career starts, all of which have been for Dallas. The 30-year-old is 5-1 as a starter. He went 4-1 as a starter during the 2022 season when Prescott suffered a broken thumb.
