Shock amount Married At First Sight's Jacqui Burfoot, Clint Rice charge media for interviews while flaunting 'millionaire' lifestyle after engagement - suong

Married At First Sight's Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice are demanding media pay them up to $500 for an interview despite having "several millions" worth of assets in the wake of their engagement.

SkyNews.com.au can exclusively reveal Jacqui and Clint are being inundated with media requests following their engagement on Sunday - and are now charging for interviews and even comments.

Clint stunned co-stars and fans when he got down on one knee about four months into their whirlwind relationship to present Jacqui with a $30,000 5-carat ring from Simon Curwood Jewellers.

The bride-to-be said the couple has subsequently been "slammed" by the media and decided to charge $100 for a comment and up to $500 for an interview.

"We are packed and charging for media right now - $100 for a comment about $250 - $500 for interviews," she said on Friday.

"Unless we are friends or family, it's favours."

Jacqui confirmed the couple's prices vary depending on the type of media request.

However, she could not provide a media kit outlining these details.

"It depends on the request—we work on a case-by-case basis as we are slammed and have no time for a media kit yet," the 30-year-old said.

"I'm just trying to free up our time for priorities as we are behind on paid deliverables."

The couple's exorbitant rates come despite "humbly wealthy" Clint and Jacqui, who fans have described as a "gold digger", sharing his million-dollar architect-designed abode near Launceston, Tasmania.

The former lawyer moved in after Final Vows around December, and Jacqui has enthused over their "his and her vanity," separate showers, and "huge" walk-in wardrobe.

The home boasts eight key features, including a tennis court, golf simulator, theatre, gym, bar and entertaining area, paved driveway, stone bench tops, and double vanities.

Sky News host Erin Molan has commented on the report into “toxic culture” at Channel Nine. “I spent 12 years at that network, from my mid-twenties until very recently, I took part in the review, I spoke at length of my experiences, I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I feel let down - immensely,” Ms Molan said. “I also feel angry, not just for what I and so many others went through, but at what appears to be a complete lack of accountability.”

Clint's assets include a Porsche and several millions of dollars from the sale of his company.

The professional golfer also competed in tournaments from 2008 through 2014 and won around $43,000 in the PGA Tour Canada.

Jacqui's personal website lists a Tasmanian PO Box for correspondence and contains a link to her jewellery business for "collabs", while she has also recently taken to selling Cameos to fans and increased her price for a video to $111.09 from around $30.

The couple have been on a media blitz since being thrust into the national spotlight when they officially confirmed their couple status at Sunday's penultimate season 12 episode, to the shock of their fellow cast members.

SkyNews.com.au contacted Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie to confirm whether the show still paid the couple for their heated interview on Tuesday despite them hanging up on the hosts.

What was supposed to be a congratulatory chat soon turned sour when Fitzy grilled Jacqui about her treatment of her on-screen 'husband' Ryan Donnelly throughout their nine-week relationship, and she refused to answer his questions.

Reflecting on their controversial decision to hang up midway through the chat, Jacqui and Clint told PEDESTRIAN.TV they have a “zero tolerance strategy” toward “negative” comments regarding them or their portrayal on the show.
