Seth Rogen has been busy. Aside from creating, directing, and starring in The Studio, the actor has also been rewatching all 11 seasons of Vanderpump Rules.
Rogen, along with the rest of The Studio cast, stopped by this morning’s episode of The View, where they opened up about what they do when they’re not filmingthe new AppleTV+ series.
Ike Barinholtz talked to the co-hosts about winning $1 million on Celebrity Jeopardy and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, while Chase Sui Wonders solved a Rubik’s Cube live on the air. Rogen, for his part, was recently photographed with his wife at Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix‘s sandwich shop Something About Her.
“While she’s learning Rubik’s Cubes and he’s winning Jeopardy, I’m watching Bravo reality television,” Rogen joked. “Very important stuff.”
“We went to Something About Her,” he continued. “We are just fans, yeah. We’ve been trying to watch them open this goddamn sandwich shop for four seasons now or something like that.”
When his co-stars pointed out how “happy” he looked in the photo with Madix and Maloney, Rogen admitted to getting “more starstruck around reality show people than any celebrity.” Why? Well, according to Rogen, it feels like “you actually kind of know them.”
“Do you?” Sara Haines questioned, to which Rogen replied, “Oh, yes. They’re real. Vanderpump’s real. Vanderpump is real. I would argue The Bachelor and those types of shows are less real than Vanderpump Rules, which is real.”
The actor added, “Well, because the whole time I’m watching it, I’m like, ‘It seems like Jax Taylor is on cocaine.’ And he was!”
Taylor, who starred in the first eight seasons of Vanderpump Rules, revealed earlier this month that he had been struggling with a cocaine addiction for more than two decades. His former co-star Tom Sandoval confirmed on an episode of Watch What Happens Live that the entire Vanderpump Rules cast was aware of his “problems” with addiction.
