Scheana Shay Shares Why She Didn’t Reach Out to Ariana Madix After Tom Sandoval’s Lawsuit as She Addresses Strained Relationship, Plus She Slams Tom Again

Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay Reveals If She's Spoken to Ariana Since Tom Sandoval's Lawsuit, Suspects It Will Be a "Long Road" Back to Their Former Friendship, and Slams Sandoval for His Lack of "Accountability"Scheana Shay is explaining why she hasn’t spoken to Ariana Madix since Tom Sandoval filed a lawsuit against her — and later claimed to be dismissing the case.

On Friday’s episode of her podcast, the 39-year-old Vanderpump Rules star addressed her strained relationship with Ariana, 39, admitting that it may be a while before they get back on track, as she also took aim at Sandoval, 42, for his lack of accountability as she questioned his claims of being misled into suing his ex-girlfriend.

First, Scheana shared why she didn’t reach out to Ariana after Tom’s lawsuit hit the news.

“I didn’t [speak to Ariana]. I reached out after I saw the [Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss] lawsuit a few months ago and the response I got, I felt like, ‘Maybe she doesn’t want to talk about this,’” Scheana explained on Scheananigans, via Breaking the Rules-Pod Clips on Instagram. “I’m sure everyone’s bombarding her with messages. That’s why I just took to Instagram.”

As Pump Rules fans will recall, Raquel, 29, filed a revenge porn lawsuit against Ariana and Sandoval in February. Then, earlier this month, in response to the case, Sandoval filed court documents against Ariana, suggesting that she didn’t have permission to access his phone when she discovered NSFW videos of Raquel, which she allegedly sent to herself and others.

Following the sharing of the case, Scheana took to her Instagram Story to lash out at Sandoval’s “cruel” and “vile” behavior.

“I said my piece. I do not agree with any of this. I do not condone it I think this just needs to be done. He needs to just let her live her life and shine as bright as she is,” Scheana explained. “She looks the best she has ever looked. … Like, drop-dead gorgeous.”

Scheana then admitted it’s been “really difficult” to navigate how she and Ariana ended season 11.

“I’m hoping with some time passing that we can get back to being the Spice Girls and maybe a long road to that,” she shared.

During another moment of her podcast, also via Breaking the Rules-Pod Clips on Instagram, Scheana reacted to Sandoval’s suggestion that his attorney, who he has since fired, tricked him into his lawsuit against Ariana.

“I’m glad he has now done the right thing and dropped it but what he did was, it was so just out of public pressure. This lawsuit comes out, everybody reacts. I don’t know what reaction he was thinking but apparently it’s not the reaction he was hoping for. I just, I don’t get it and what was missing in his Instagram post was accountability,” she stated. “There’s always a ‘but.’ There’s someone else to blame. It’s like, Tom, you are now 42. It’s long past time to take responsibility.”

“You can’t just blame your lawyer and say you didn’t know what was going on. You don’t sue people accidentally. There’s paperwork involved,” she concluded.

Vanderpump Rules season 12 is expected to go into production sometime later this year.
