Scheana Shay is firing back at a critic on Instagram who compared Tom Sandoval‘s affair with Raquel Leviss to her own affair with Brandi Glanville‘s now ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.
As she told Ariana she’s “always got [her] back” and described Sandoval’s reported infidelity as a “nightmare,” the Vanderpump Rules cast member, who is best friends with Sandoval’s now-ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, was met with hypocrisy claims.
“Wonder who had [Brandi Glanville] ’S? So quick to team up but let’s not forget you walked in [Raquel Leviss’] shoes,” someone wrote in response, as seen in a screenshot shared by Comments by Bravo on Instagram.
“I don’t recall having an affair with my best friend’s [boyfriend] KNOWINGLY but go off!” Scheana clapped back.
Scheana also commented on the Pump Rules cheating drama on her Twitter page, telling her online audience, “Every morning when I wake up, I realize it wasn’t just a nightmare. It’s real,” and including a crying emoji and a broken heart emoji.
Amid the scandal, a days-old interview that featured Raquel gushing over Ariana, describing her and Scheana as her “true friends,” was shared by the Bravo Historian.
“Honestly, Ariana and Scheana were the ones that really embraced me into this group and have been there for me since day one so I know who my true friends are, and Katie’s not one of them,” Raquel said on the March 3 episode of the Chicks in the Office podcast.
She then commented on her decision to pursue Tom Schwartz, saying that she admires Katie Maloney‘s ex-husband “a lot because he’s super sweet” and “always puts himself in other people’s shoes,” and noting that he’s “basically the opposite of James Kennedy.”
“So, am I going to choose myself and my interest in pursuing Schwartz, or am I going to put that on hold and pursue a friendship with Katie, someone who has never been that welcoming to me and someone who I’m not really even interested in being friends with?” she asked.
And after seeing a clip of the interview, Lala Kent posted it on her Instagram Story, along with a telling message.
“I tried to tell ya’ll. She is sick. Someone call her mama,” Lala wrote.
After the sharing of the news of his rumored romance with Raquel on Friday, Sandoval took to his Instagram page, where he offered a public apology but failed to mention Ariana.
“Hey, I fully understand and deserve ur anger & disappointment towards me, but please leave Schwartz, my friends, and family out of this situation … Schwartz specifically only found out about this very recently, and most definitely did not condone my actions. This was a very personal thing,” he wrote.
“Also,” he continued, “Schwartz & Sandy’s might have my name on it, but also, there are 3 other partners and 20 employees, who especially rely on the restaurant for income for them and their families. Just like TomTom, I’m a small part of a much bigger thing. Please direct your anger towards me and not them. They did nothing wrong.”
