RONNIE and Harriett are the real winners of Love Island: All Stars regardless of what happens in Monday night's final, according to Shaughna Phillips.
The couple rekindled their romance in the villa just four months after breaking up, prompting many fans to ask why they couldn't have patched things up off-screen.
Not only have they got back together, they could walk away with a £50,000 payday if they triumph in the series closer.
Former show star Shaughna Phillips can't fault them for signing up and thinks it was a smart move all round.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun on behalf of Slotscalendar, she said: "They could have patched it up on the outside and never had this experience.
"Or they could have got a six-week all-inclusive holiday to South Africa while being paid per week. I think I know what one I would have gone for.
"I think Ronnie and Harriett could both be underdogs because, in the beginning, I kind of found them so boring to watch, whereas now I'm like, no, they're actually quite cute."
In fact, when it comes to the couples likely to stand the test of time, only Ronnie and Harriet and Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame have any chance at all, according to Shaughna.
"I think Catherine and Omar seem like the most normal couple," she said.
"They seem like a couple that could actually have been like a couple on the outside before Love Island even came about.
"And I think Ronnie and Harriett, I think they have a good chance. Because they've kind of done the foundation work of what a couple needs.
"It's just whether or not they get over the hurdles that obviously broke up the first time. Other than them two couples, no, I don't think any of them have got any legs."
Ronnie and Harriett finally got the chance to be more intimate with one another earlier in the week when they headed to the hideaway.
The couple were treated to chocolate covered strawberries and champagne and talked about their plans once they leave the villa.
Proving that he's keen to show Harriett he's serious this time around, Ronnie said he'd take her mum for dinner when they return to England.
And it seems his hard work paid off as they declared their love for each other, cementing themselves as a bona fide couple.
