REAL Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks has moved into a new house to film Season 5 of the Bravo show.
Meredith, 52, her husband Seth Marks, and children Brooks and Chloe, filmed inside a $7.5 million mansion in Park City, Utah, which the matriarch has been renting for $35,000 per month.
It is unclear when the family started renting the mansion.
But in property records obtained by The U.S Sun, the listing was removed in January 2024 because the Marks family moved in.
The new season, which hit our screens last month, started filming in early February.
Each season of the reality show normally takes three to four months to film - and the property was listed again for rent in June this year.
ALL IN THE DETAILS
The contemporary retreat is situated on 2.33 acres overlooking the snowy mountains and has over 7,000 square feet of space.
As seen on RHOSLC, the four-bedroom, five-bath house has floor-to-ceiling windows – more than enough to take in the breathtaking mountain views.
There’s an additional room that has been turned into an office, two dining areas and a cozy den.
The kitchen where Meredith was filmed making her bath bombs has high-end appliances, granite counters and plenty of storage.
Guests can warm up by the fireplace as they wait for food to be served.
Apart from the luxurious space inside, the businesswoman and her family can enjoy the outdoors on the patio where there is a gas grill, a fire pit and hot tub.
The oversized three-car garage makes it convenient to store outdoor necessities as well as commute to the nearby trails and the ski mountains.
LUXE LIVING
Meredith's choice to rent, rather than buy a property, has been topic of conversation before on RHOSLC.
The star has spoken out about her decision a number of times over the years.
“In terms of affording a house, we are living a lifestyle that we are actually spending a lot more money than it would cost us to buy a house because it’s what my choice is, to figure out what we want to do right now,” Meredith said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2022.
She also told TODAY in an interview last year that she “doesn’t care” what people think.
Meredith added to the publication: “So what, I rent luxury homes and live a beautiful life, so great.”
The mum-of-three has lived in different homes while filming RHOSLC since she joined the show in 2020.
Last season, Meredith rented a $3 million mansion, which was listed for $14,900 per month, as previously reported by The U.S. Sun.
Meredith is focusing on her multiple businesses, including her jewellery line, caviar collection and she's even launching her own bath bomb line.
WHITNEY’S REMARKS
The latest season premiered on September 18 and has already had plenty of drama for fans to enjoy.
Meredith, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas and Mary Cosby returned to our screens as part of the cast.
The only Season 4 star who hasn't returned is Monica Garcia.
There are also some new faces including newcomers Bronwyn Newport, Britani Bateman and Meili Workman.
The first episode included a fight between Meredith, Heather and Lisa against Whitney at Lisa's Besos party.
The trio “ganged up” on Whitney after Lisa accused her of lying on a podcast.
During the fight, Whitney called out Meredith for renting her house and boasted about how she owns a home and Meredith does not.
Fans learned that Whitney has moved into a new home.
According to property records exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, Whitney and her husband, Justin Rose, purchased a six-bedroom, six-bathroom house in South Jordan, Utah for $2.5 million in January of this year.
The newly built home has 7,000 square feet of space and is situated in a development near scenic trails and picturesque parks.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City continue their trip to Milwaukee this evening.
