RHOSLC's Mary Cosby and Andy Cohen tear up as she gives update on son Robert Jr. after his rehab stay

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Crosby gave fans an emotional update on her son Robert Jr.'s life after rehab, on Part 2 of the Season 5 reunion on Wednesday.

At one point both Mary, 52, and host Andy Cohen, 56, shed tears as they spoke about Robert Jr., 21, and his decision to candidly share his struggles with drug addiction on the show.

Mary said Robert Jr. was in rehab for 30 days last year, and that he goes to AA classes, where he's met sober friends, adding that him opening up to her was 'a cry of help'.

Andy then got choked up and teary-eyed as he spoke about an emotional scene from the show: 'Hearing him say that he felt like a stain... was really, as a mom, that must have been...'

Mary then got emotional as she replied, 'Yeah, you don't wanna hear your child say that. When they're not. He's everything. Oh, God, Andy.'

'And when he said that, I wanted to take everything in me to convince him otherwise. You are beautiful. You're smart, intelligent. He's worthy, you know. And I want him to believe that.'

'I feel like we're our worst critic, you know. We are really hard on ourself, you know. And I see that through him. And that is really hard and I just don't want him to be like that. And I wish I could change it.'

Andy said: 'It seemed like you were beating yourself up too, a little bit. You felt like somehow you had, you had failed or missed out on...'

Mary replied: 'Of course you do, as a mom, you know. I mean, you have a relationship with your son. And you wanna give him the world. You want him to have a better life than you did, you know. I picked up and moved to New York for eight years so that he could have the best education. He could be in a diverse atmosphere. So he wouldn't be raised like I was raised.'

'And I do blame myself. I feel like somewhere I missed the mark on catching it. But I feel like everybody has their own journey. Everybody has their own testimony.'

Mary then revealed that the decision to go to rehab was made by Robert Jr.

'He wanted to go. And the way that he was telling me and opening up to me, that was a cry of help. That was him saying, "Mom, help me. I'm drowning, and I don't know if it’s a problem or an addiction." He was kind of in a crossroads. He didn't really know, but whatever it was, he wanted to change.'

Since he returned home, Mary says Robert Jr. has been 'good,' however she still worries about him.

'I still worry because I feel like once you go to rehab, you have to change your friends,' she shared.

Mary added that he spends more time at home and 'for the most part' is not friends with the people he was close to in the past.

RHOSLC star Mary Cosby shares her glamorous life on Instagram
'You know, the amount of tweets that we got after you shared your story was immeasurable. Do you feel the outpouring of love?' Andy asked.

'I do. Absolutely.'

'What did that mean to you?'

'It means my mission was accomplished.'

'What was your mission?'

'Well, Robert and I came together and I told him that I was gonna talk to him and I wanted him to openly tell me what was his struggle, what was going on, because I, I know he's absent. And we didn't plan on what we were gonna say but we came together said, if we can just help one person, then we'll just tell our truth. And when the cameras went up, he told me what he did and... Whew.'

'The mission was to help someone. And I feel like the love that I've been receiving, someone resonated. Someone connected. Someone understood me.'

'What part of that conversation surprised you the most? He had ideations of suicide. He talked about very serious opiates and drugs that he was taking,' Andy asked.

'Whew, all of it. I didn't expect him to say all that. I didn't know that he was doing all that. And the fact that I was unaware, scared me because you know, he lives in my house. We're so close, you know. And I just was shocked.'

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow boards private jet
Mary was joined by fellow castmates Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose as well Angie Katsanevas.

New housewife Bronwyn Newport - and two new 'friends' - Britani Bateman and Meili Workman also made an appearance, as well as some of the ladies' husbands.

Elsewhere on the show Bronwyn was asked to speak about her husband Todd Bradley's 'emotional affair.'

After he was asked what he thought about Bronwyn sharing the story with the ladies in a prior episode, he replied, 'We've talked about it and it's just hard to watch, yeah. Anything that Bronwyn had shared would be more than I'd want her to share.'

'It was only emotional?' one housewife asked, sounding skeptical.

'I wouldn't even say it's an emotional affair. There's a lot of people that Todd has different conversations with and I felt like there was conversations that went further than I would have had with someone,' Bronwyn shared.

However, another housewife pointed out, 'Bronwyn, when we were on the boat, come on, babe. You wept and said he had been disloyal. You had caught him in an affair.'

'So, he didn't do it or he did do it?' Bronwyn was asked.

'I think that the conversation with this woman went too far, I do. I do. But I wanna be very clear about this. When I said this to you on the boat, it was not happening in real time.'

'What I was trying to explain to you is that I have an issue where I don't feel good enough. There's a significant amount of things in my life that have made me feel not good enough.'

'Being a single parent, being ostracized from the church. And when I felt like everything I said in this group of women was misconstrued, or misunderstood, or looked at negatively, it does trigger this narrative that I'm not good enough. And that brings me back to a time when I didn't feel good enough with Todd.'

RHOSLC star Britani Bateman shades her ex John Scott Underwood
'When Todd and I talked this through Todd gave me a fifth anniversary gift and it was a ring with five diamonds, and also five new promises.'

'What were the five promises. Can you say?' Andy asked.

Todd shared: 'Support, love, fidelity, and taking care of Gwen. And transparency is the last one.'

Meredith also clarified the state of her marriage with Seth Marks.

'Are you two living separate lives? How often are you together? What's happening?' Andy asked.

'So, contrary to what Angie and Whitney and Heather, to some extent, too, disappointingly, said, Seth and I are monogamous. We do not cheat on each other.'

'We have a beautiful marriage that sometimes has bumps in the road, just like any marriage. And let me just tell you, anyone who has been married for decades and says that it's always a walk in a park, in the park, and perfect, is a liar.'

Seth chimed in, 'When I kinda do an annual review on our marriage, as long as it's above average 51 percent of the time, I'm staying in the game.'

To which Meredith said, 'That's a pretty low bar, honey.'

He said, 'It helps 'cause we're not together physically that often, Andy. I highly recommend commuting. So it feels like a first date on the weekends for me. So, I see her every weekend. And uh, sometimes more than that.'

Todd chimed, in 'Look, people online accuse Bronwyn and I of the same thing. Some idiot wrote in some gossipy rag the other day that I lived in different states. Well, you know, like Seth and Meredith, we do the same thing. I work here in New York quite a bit. We've had multiple homes. Bronwyn used to work in San Francisco. So, I totally agree with what Seth said. I totally understand that situation.'

Andy then asked Seth: 'A lot of questions on Twitter wanting to know if you have a side chick in Ohio?' which Seth laughed off.

Towards the end of the show Meredith pulled out a list on her phone of all the names she had been called.

Before the episode wrapped up Meredith and Mary, who haven't always seen eye to eye, shared a hug, with Meredith sharing, 'I think we're on a positive path forward. I hope'

Andy Cohen talks about whether Monica Garcia is out of RHOSLC
'I have been called a drug addict, a bulimic, a cheater, homeless, mentally unstable, next level psychotic disassociation, multiple personality disorder, a snitch, a liar. My appearance has been made fun of. My hearing aids have been made fun of. I've been insulted as a mother. I'm a grudge holder, a wh**e, and I play the victim. And those are the ones I could remember.'

However, the ladies the pointed out that Meredith had also called the other cast members different names.
