RHOBH's Kyle Richards also revealed a surprising update on her friendship status with Dorit Kemsley.
Kyle Richards is, once again, explaining her side of the story regarding her text messages with Dorit Kemsley's estranged husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley.
The diamond holder's texts to PK have been under scrutiny on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, as she asserted that they were simply exchanging memes back and forth. When Kyle read the messages out loud to the other ladies on Season 14, Episode 8, a few of them were struck at a comment she made about not repeating anything that he tells her.
During an Amazon Live stream on January 21, Kyle shared why she got so frustrated with the group when they had their spa day at Bozoma Saint John's house.
"To make matters worse, I just felt like they were taking something and making it something that it wasn't, which was extremely frustrating," she explained. "I'm referring to the text message, and I think the worst part of all, for me, was that I’ve been saying, 'He always sends me memes.’ That was really the majority of our communicating, was memes. But I had said that I had reached out to Dorit and PK — both of them — when they announced their separation, but no one seems to be mentioning that."
Kyle then claimed that the other ladies — including Bozoma, Dorit, Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, and Sutton Stracke — "knew" that she had also reached out to Dorit when she announced her separation in May 2024.
"So they’re making it seem like 'Oh, Kyle’s not telling the truth, she said it was just memes.' I told everybody that I sent both Dorit and PK a text when their separation was announced, and that's what I thought a good friend would do," she continued. "That’s what people did when they found out about Mau[ricio Umansky] and me, and I appreciated that, and so did Mau."
The mom of four went on to note that she finds it "interesting" that none of the other women are mentioning her text to Dorit.
"So that really was hurtful and frustrating to watch, so I’m just going to wait a little bit until I feel a little better, because I know my intentions and I had zero bad intentions there, at all," she concluded on the matter.
Are Kyle Richards and Dorit friends today?
Though Dorit and Kyle's friendship is not in a good place on RHOBH Season 14, the latter diamond holder shared that things have improved between them since filming wrapped.
"I mean, I’m not supposed to give too much away, but yes, we’re in a much, much better place now," Kyle explained during her livestream. "But you know, then the show airs, and you get mad again, and then we’ll have to do the reunion, and then it won’t be good again..."
