Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac is currently airing and Mia Thornton is seemingly at the center of the drama.
Not only are her cast mates calling her out for embellishing the truth, but some fans of the show are accusing her of declassing it. Now, she’s firing back at her naysayers while also saying she and her new beau, Inc, are planning to start a family before her biological clock runs out.
This has been a pretty weird season of RHOP for Mia. Not only is she publicly questioning the paternity of one of her kids, but many fans say she’s using Gordon Thornton‘s mental health diagnosis as a storyline. There is also a robust conversation online that says she’s not right for this show and maybe even belongs on another network.
Recently, Mia did an interview with E Talk CTV while at a red carpet event. Before the video begins, fans can see some of her cast members, like Wendy Osefo and Gizelle Bryant, calling her a liar and saying she’ll have much to answer for at the reunion. Of course, then they ask her about these comments.
According to Mia, “You know, so for the longest time, I thought it was cute. If your lives are so boring and you’re so into what I have going on and it doesn’t make sense for you so I must be lying. I was like, okay, whatever, they just don’t get it. You can’t really expect people to understand what they’ve never experienced.”
She then says, “But it’s getting to a point now where I’m gonna start inviting some more friends to the table so they can vouch for me because clearly that works out really well. I don’t have a reason to lie about anything. Like, I’m very authentic, very true, very just, I’m gonna give it to you. I think that’s not necessarily the norm, but then again, there’s nothing normal about me, and I want to stay that way. They’ll catch on.”
Mia also recently spoke to Bravo’s The Daily Dish about her relationship with INC and whether children will be in their future. The RHOP star said, “INC does want more children.”
