Luann de Lesseps offered an update on where she stands with Carole Radziwill following the news of Carole’s reconciliation with Andy Cohen.
After Andy, 57, and Carole, 61, made amends earlier this year, leading up to Carole’s recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the 60-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum admitted to having “issues” with her former co-star and declared that their fellow ex-castmate, Aviva Drescher, 54, was “correct.”
“How is your relationship with her?” Jeff Lewis, 55, asked Luann on his SiriusXM radio show, Jeff Lewis Live, via a clip shared on Instagram by Page Six.
“Okay, I mean, I don’t call her in the middle of the night. I’ve got my other issues with her, which is, you know, she’s not really that truthful about certain things. Let’s just say, Aviva was correct,” Luann explained, seemingly giving a nod to a moment on RHONY in which Aviva suggested Carole used a ghostwriter for her 2005 memoir, What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love.
Then, after Jeff noted that the conversation wasn’t going to “help the relationship” between Luann and Carole, Luann admitted, “I don’t care.”
“Listen, Carole is Carole, and, you know, I don’t have a relationship with her. I never really did. We were never really close,” she concluded.
While appearing on WWHL earlier this month, Carole revealed who she was still in touch with from the RHONY cast, failing to name Luann.
“Dorinda Medley and I share a really good friendship. So I do see her occasionally, but she’s very busy doing her other shows … [Heather Thomson] moved to the Berkshires, but she comes to the city, and I see her very occasionally, a couple times a year. And then other than that, I haven’t seen anyone else in eight years,” she shared.
Luann de Lesseps was featured on the first 13 seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City.
