RHOC Recap: Gina Blasts Jenn for Getting Hair & Makeup Done While Owing Rent, Tamra Tells Shannon She’s Not a Good Person as She Accuses Her of Talking Behind Her Back, Plus Alexis Discusses Promise Ring From JohnAsking for a friend: Should you pay for glam when you can’t afford rent? On this episode of the Real Housewives of Orange CountyJenn gets called out by Gina for having her priorities out of whack… and for potentially messing up Gina’s new real estate gig. Gina isn’t the only one frustrated in this group. Shannon wonders how she can navigate being around Alexis, especially when she shows off her promiseD ring from Johnny J.

As Shannon and Alexis end their conversation, the ladies inside scatter like cockroaches. When Alexis re-enters the room, Heather goes over to her and finds out that Shannon’s main beef is the infamous lawsuit with Alexis’ ex (a Reality Blurb article gets shown highlighting the deets!).

Tamra looks on, and she claims that even though she’s not happy with Shannon right now, she does feel bad for her. However, Shannon doesn’t buy it, considering Tamra not only liked Alexis’ photo outing her relationship with John, but she also put applause emojis in her comment. At least it wasn’t the eggplant.

Jenn opens up to Katie about her eviction, who seems flabbergasted to be associating with someone who gets evicted. On the bright side, Jenn and her kids have decided to move in with Ryan for a new start.

On the topic of eviction, Gina talks about how she found out: through Instagram. This is rich considering Gina not only found Jenn that apartment but also vouched for her financially. Gina thinks it’s rude that Jenn didn’t tell her what was going on and now she looks bad as a realtor. Sensing she is in hot water, Jenn asks to meet up with Gina to discuss the eviction and their relationship.

The tension is still thick after the Alexis/Shannon confrontation, but Alexis refuses to be “shushed” by “any storm that Beador wants to create.” When they sit down for lunch, Heather talks about the question booth (which should have been a money booth, according to Jenn, and we all know why). Alexis grabs the first question and declares that she wants to “kill all animosity” with Shannon and be amicable. Riiiight. Shannon knows this is a joke.

Tamra wants fewer friends who talk behind her back, and Shannon feels like that’s directed at her. When Heather talks about her favorite piece of jewelry, this makes the group turn their attention to Alexis’ ring from John, which she hashtagged as #promised. In the eyes of the Lord? Is there a difference between a promise ring and a promised ring? Alexis feels like she will marry John, just not tomorrow.

Shannon needs a minute to step out after hearing this, and Tamra comes to check on her. Obviously, Tamra then makes it about her, and she wants to know why Shannon would say she is a bad friend with an ego. Sure, kick her while she’s down, Tam. Tamra goes on to tell Shannon she is not a good person, and so she does not want to sit down and hash things out with her.

Gina’s at a new listing, and she really feels like real estate is her thing. Gina understands that she is new to this business, but she is taking it very seriously. No thanks to Jenn, though. Speaking of Jenn, she meets up with Shannon and Katie. Katie is trying to keep up with this Johnny J thing, but Shannon prefers to talk more about Katie. We learn that Katie has been married for seven years and that their whole life revolves around golf, thanks to their jobs.

Katie lets the ladies know that she met Heather at Sutton’s Christmas party, and Shannon states that she is unsure where she stands with Heather.

In the meantime, Gina FaceTimes Emily and explains that Jenn should be mortified since she ruined her reputation. Gina tells Emily she had a deal lined up but couldn’t even get the other agent to text her back, suggesting this is because of her newly damaged reputation.”

“That cost me $50,000 when that deal fell apart,” shared Gina.

It’s interesting that Jenn is perplexed as to why Gina would be upset with her, and she wonders how Emily knows her business about the eviction. After all, why would Gina, as her agent, run around and talk smack? Because she really has no other options, Jenn is moving in with Ryan because who in OC would rent to her now? Somehow Ryan, who just “plays in the sunshine” is able to afford a home.

Over at Katie’s house, we get a glimpse into her family life. She was adopted and grew up in Georgia. We find out that in Katie’s first marriage, she had three kids. Her 14-year-old son lives in Atlanta with his dad full-time, and her 17-year-old son decided to stay in San Diego to finish school. Katie’s oldest daughter felt abandoned by her biological dad, and so she relies on Katie’s husband, Matt, for that dad role. Her daughter is also teaching Katie more about her Korean roots.

Emily has set up a flag football game for the ladies (including Alexis), and so to prep for the event, she has invited Shannon and Gina into the gym. Emily feels like Alexis was out of line with Shannon, even though she likes Alexis, and Gina doesn’t feel like she was nice to Shannon at all. Gina remembers Johnny J’s gremlin-like ways, and she lets Shannon know that she handled herself well during the discussion with Alexis.

This opens up a new, vulnerable side to Shannon. She gets emotional apologizing to Gina, and Gina understands that sometimes it takes perspective to help comprehend. According to Gina, Shannon is being honest for the first time.

After a motorcycle ride, Tamra chats with Eddie about their Big Bear house and how she enjoys splitting her time. She goes on to explain that she has too much anger with Shannon, as she thought Shannon was really going to get help with her drinking. Eddie reminds Tamra that Shannon doesn’t see this as rock bottom. Tamra then spills about Jenn and her eviction. Tamra feels like Jenn needs to “get off her a*s” and makes things happen now that she doesn’t have any income. Eddie and Tamra feel like Ryan is pulling Jenn down since Jenn is surrounding herself with a bunch of liars.

Jenn feels like her kids like being at Ryan’s, but they also know they are settling into someone else’s house. Jenn is happy that her parents are coming over and refers to them (and Ryan) as her “lifelines,” but she gets upset saying “at 46” her parents shouldn’t have to keep taking care of her the way they do.

Shannon and Heather get together. Heather wonders what to do about having Shannon and Alexis at the same event, and then she gets right down to it with Shannon: “Did you say to Tamra before the reunion we need to take Heather down?” Heather still denies talking about Shannon’s relationship and swears she has always kept her confidence. Heather wants Shannon to trust her so that they can have a friendship. Shannon needs to see how things go before diving into a friendship, but they are both ready for flag football. Heather states, “I’m a Taylor Swift fan. I know football now.” LOL.

Katie, Gina, and Emily meet up for some drinks. Katie lets them know Jenn moved in with Ryan and that Jenn was annoyed Emily knew about the eviction. Gina cannot believe Jenn’s concerned about who knows, and she thinks she should be more worried about paying her rent. Gina is irked by Jenn trying to assign blame for her own problems, and she goes on to say, “If Jenn comes for my career, I will f*ck her up.”

Not sure what’s colder… the OC weather or the way Gina greets Jenn when she enters for their meeting. Gina is annoyed because Jenn has a professionally glammed face and nice new clothes, but she cannot pay her rent. Jenn ponders, “Wtf did I do to Gina?” Jenn claims she didn’t think about what could go wrong when she went into it, and Gina states, “I don’t think you think about these things at all.”

Jenn doesn’t think Gina should be running her mouth about her. Gina rattles off how Jenn needs to grow up and pay her bills. She tries to tell Jenn the “real truth” and tells her to wake up: Pay your rent instead of getting your hair and makeup done. Jenn states that just cuz her life is falling apart, it doesn’t mean her hair has to like Gina’s did (kudos to the Bravo producers for the Gina hair montage). Gina gets up from the table since Jenn won’t even let her talk. Gina refers to Jenn as a “ding dong” since she is unable to see what she has done to Gina…
