Sutton Stracke shared her status with Katie Ginella and reacted to Kyle Richards‘ texts with Paul “PK” Kemsley on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As the 53-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also confirmed whether or not she trusts Kyle, 55, reflected on her post-ribbon ceremony drama with Dorit Kemsley, 48, and dished on her friendship with Erika Jayne, 53, Sutton confirmed if she’d been in contact with Teddi Mellencamp, 43, and offered an update on her friendship with Katie, of The Real Housewives of Orange County, after Heather Dubrow, 55, suggested she accused Katie of “using her.”
On the December 10 episode of WWHL, Sutton was asked if she was in touch with Katie, 40, and replied, “Not right now, but I will be.”
Then, when she was questioned about how surprised she was to learn about Kyle and PK’s texts, on a scale of one to 10, Sutton admitted she wasn’t too taken aback.
“Well, they’re friends,” she reasoned. “And I was wondering about this. What’s the line, when do you stop talking to your friend’s husband when you’re going through a separation? I don’t know.”
Although Sutton asked, “Who said I trusted her,” in regard to Kyle on a recent episode of RHOBH, she said she only questioned her castmate early on in the season.
“That was in the very beginning, so I was getting to trust Kyle again. I do. Now I 100 percent do,” she confirmed.
Looking back at her and Dorit’s heated moment in the van on Tuesday’s show, Sutton suspected “the devil” got a hold of her co-star.
“I think the devil lives in those sprinter vans,” she shared.
According to Sutton, her “heart was in the right place” when it came to her ribbon ceremony for the ladies, even though the dynamic, especially between her and Dorit, went south soon after. That said, she was shocked to see that the audience sided with her, and against Dorit, in a poll about their feud.
“It’s surprising to me because Dorit’s been doing so well, and I think we all love her. We want to see her succeed,” she noted.
During another moment of WWHL, Sutton was asked why she called out Erika for talking behind Dorit’s back when she previously had all of the cast talking about Erika behind her back amid her legal issues.
“Well, this is season 14, so there’s a lot of growth that has happened, and I’m trying to get us all to be able to speak freely in front of one another without judgment. That’s the whole point of it,” she stated.
Regarding her newfound friendship with Erika, Sutton said things were “so much better.”
“I like her. We’re actually getting along, and it’s so much better, and we kind of bounce off of one another. But we also like to not like each other. There’s this weird cat-and-mouse thing that we do. It’s good,” she suggested.
Also on the live broadcast, after admitting things “didn’t work out” with the “cute” guy from season 13, Sutton applauded Mary Cosby, 52, for the candid conversation she had with her son, Robert Cosby Jr., 21, about his addiction to pills on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
“I want to talk about sisterhood a little bit because I want to give a shout-out to Mary from [RHOSLC]. I think she is the epitome of sisterhood within the Bravo land that we live in. I’ve met her, but I just really love her and I think for me, watching her talk to her son about his addiction. My father also was on Xanax and sleeping pills the day that he [committed suicide,] and I think that’s what sisterhood is about, especially with us Housewives. And I think Mary is like the Housewife right now. We gotta protect each other, that’s what this sisterhood is about, it’s about being in a safe place and being able to say what you need to say without fear of judgment. And, Mary, I love you for it, and thank you. And it’s our platform that we get to say things like that.”
Later on Tuesday, while appearing on the WWHL: After Show, Sutton confirmed she had not spoken to Teddi since her split from Edwin Arroyave, 47.
“I’ve not spoken with Teddi for years, [but] I wish her well,” she stated.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
