Where do Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore stand after their time together on Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip?
While appearing on Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum offered an update on their friendship before sharing what she misses from her past marriage to Peter Thomas, reflecting on her time in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and more.
“We are not like we were before [RHUGT],” Cynthia admitted on the March 2 episode of WWHL. “I will always have love in my heart for Kenya. Friendships go up and down and it’s really tough to maintain those relationships on a platform like this. We are not where we used to be.”
According to Cynthia, she and Kenya did have a “very lengthy” chat after the trip, but she feels there “could be more conversations.” That said, she’s happy for Kenya in her life as a mom and feels she did an “amazing” job on Dancing With the Stars.
As for what Kenya could improve on in terms of their friendship, Cynthia said, “For me, reciprocity is a big word for me. Give back the energy you receive.”
While participating in a Q&A on WWHL, Cynthia confirmed she has not hooked up with ex Leon Robinson, the father of her daughter Noelle Robinson, since they split and said the one thing she misses about being married to Peter is “the food at Bar One.”
Moving on to CBB, Cynthia admitted that she was “really pissed” about her tiff with Todd Bridges.
“It really pissed me off that we got into it because I was like his biggest fan in the house,” she shared. “I really was excited to see him and of course he was the first one I got into it with but we made it right. We had a little disagreement… and we did not see eye to eye. I apologized. He apologized and he’s my brother now.”
Regarding her vote for Todrick Hall to win, Cynthia explained that because she only knew about what she saw go down in the house, her judgment wasn’t the best.
“When I was in the house, my reality was the Big Brother house. I was the only one that didn’t get an opportunity to see the live feed. I didn’t see the show. I didn’t know what was going on and I had a great relationship with Todrick in the house. As a matter of fact, when Carson left, he took me under his wing,” she explained. “[But] looking back, we did get played.”
Cynthia also spoke of her drama with Shanna Moakler. She confessed that she may have overreacted and offered her housemate a public apology.
“I have spoken to Shanna and we had a great conversation. Shanna, this is for you: We already talked but I just want to say to you and the world that I am so sorry that I kind of overreacted maybe and got a little turnt up when I thought you betrayed us,” Cynthia stated. “I know it’s just a game. I love you dearly and I apologize for just getting so invested in the moment.”
During Wednesday’s WWHL: After Show, Cynthia spoke about her “next chapter” after her RHOA exit and said things have been going “amazing,” especially in terms of the acting success she’s seen in recent months.
“One of the things that I prayed for and manifested was to move into my acting career and it’s happening,” she gushed. “I have a whole movie coming out. [Lifetime’s Cruel Instruction on] March 12. I play a mom.”
