Revealed: Married At First Sight's Paul Antoine and Carina Mirabelle look tense at secret meeting hours after brawling at Dinner Party over 'cheating' drama - suong

Married At First Sight's Paul Antoine and Carina Mirabile looked like they were over after a massive brawl at the final Dinner Party on Wednesday night.

But photos taken only hours after the fateful argument, the pair appeared to be privately mending fences.

The day after filming wrapped in the early hours, the couple met up at a cafe in Sydney's Zetland to talk over their relationship.

The conversation looked tense at times, with the bride and groom wearing grim expressions and and avoiding eye contact.

But other times they shared tender moments, laughing together and Paul gently touching his wife's hat.

They walked close together after the catch up, but they did not embrace or hold hands.

Carina opted for a sporty look for the date, wearing an activewear ensemble including tights and a tank under a hoodie.

She added a cap and sneakers, while appearing to go makeup free for the occasion.

Paul also chose a casual outfit, including a dress shirt over a dark T-shirt and a pair of jeans.

The outing came after Paul was slammed by the entire cast on Wednesday night following his 'cheating' revelations.

Carina walked out on her wellness advisor groom after she learned he went on a date with his potential love match during Monday's Final Week Challenge.

Paul's 'infidelity' was the hot topic of conversation around the final MAFS Dinner Party table on Wednesday night.

However, if Paul was expecting a reception that was anything but frosty, he was sorely mistaken.

The episode began with a very downhearted Paul pottering around an empty apartment.

'I'm extremely remorseful, I miss Carina,' he told producers. 'I'm just stupid.'

It appears that Paul's 'curiosity' might have been the final nail in the couple's relationship coffin.

'Paul's actions have definitely made me question our relationship. It's draining. you just want to sleep. I feel completely disrespected and embarrassed,' Carina said.

She added that she was finding it hard to forgive Paul especially after past indiscretions including dramatically punching a hole in their bedroom door during an argument.

'I don't think there's any coming back from this. I forgave him for other things that happened in the experiment. That was a big one for me,' she said.

The couple had not spoken since Carina's dramatic walkout, save for some unanswered texts from Paul.

The couple unsurprisingly decided to arrive at the sinner party separately and before his arrival Paul complained that Carina had not appreciated his meagre attempt at an apology.

'I bought her a coffee and a little patisserie [sic] this morning and dropped it off to her at her door and didn't really hear from her,' he said.

'Didn't even get a thank you. There's only so many times I can apologise for something. I am going to continue to apologise, but she needs to be receptive.

Paul would've had better luck with a lottery ticket as Carina was in no mood to forgive her beleaguered groom.

The couple's latest spat was all anyone could talk about during pre dinner drinks with grooms Jeff Gobbels and Dave Hand discussing the situation.

'Paul's in a bag of strife,' Dave adroitly observed.

Jeff replied: 'I said to Rhi if this was like his first stuff up, then maybe, but this is his third. In baseball if you have 3 strikes what does that mean? You're out.'

Beth Kelly was another castmate who took severe umbrage with Paul's behaviour, particularly after Carina told her Paul went on the date as he thought it would be 'funny.'

I'm sorry Paul what are you playing at,' and angry Beth said to producers.

'You have Carina as your wife and you want to entertain someone else because you're curious and you think it would be funny? What a f***ing joke. You know what's funny now bruv?  You've lost your wife. The joke's on you?'

Paul was keen to have a quiet word with Carina before dinner was served, but it was not to be.

There was no time for Paul to enjoy his meal, either, with the entire table taking him to task over meeting his potential love match.

'Paul knows he's f***ed up, you can see it on his face,' Teejay said.

Trying to justify his actions, Paul began speaking a mile a minute as he attempted to put his infidelity down to being curious.

Beth, however, was having none of it.

I just don't f***ing understand it - she's [Carina] is incredible -  it makes no f***ing sense,' she said.

'If I was Carina I would've thrown his s*** out the door.'

She didn't stop there either, taking Paul to task for 'jumping ship' after Carina had forgiven him for the door punching incident and going behind her back to spill tea to Awhina.

'Try harder,' she spat at the Dinner Party. 'I'm a catch. Anyone would die to be with me' to which an emotional Paul replied: 'Apparently I'm just s**t'

'he reason this p***es me off so much is she has stood by you through f***ing everything in this experiment,' Beth railed.

'As soon as you had the opportunity to jump ship you did it. You upset her so f***king much.'

Rhi Disljenkovic also threw her two cents in, doubling down on Beth's sentiments.

'If Jeff said something like this to me, I cant see any coming back from that personally,' she said.

'The other couple of hiccups you've had has put both of you in such an awful position.'

Paul appeared genuinely remorseful but Carina buoyed by the support she had received from her castmates was unmoved.

'Try harder,' she spat. 'I'm a catch. Anyone would die to be with me' to which an emotional Paul replied: 'Apparently I'm just s**t.'

When Ryan Donnelly asked Carina if the trust can be rebuilt she offered a very telling 'I don't know.'

'I guess I got what I deserved,' he said.
