Kristen Taekman suffered a gruesome — but blessedly bloodless — injury on Thursday's latest episode of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.
For the season four edition — RHONY Legacy — the ladies got a chance to go on the water at St. Barth's for surfing lessons, which was far more pleasant than the sniping session from the previous episode.
But Kristen suffered an unfortunate surprise when she bashed her toe on the wet, packed sand and dislodged her big toe nail.
Later, the ladies went out for dinner on the beach and traded tales about how they fell in love with their ex-husbands.
They capped off the heart-to-hearts with a trip to the beach where Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon and Kristen all went topless for a nighttime stroll on the beach, before Dorinda plunged into the ocean.

The episode of RHONY Legacy concluded with Luanna de Lesseps, Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley and Kristen all going topless by the sea after dinner
Day 5 of the ladies trip opened with Sonja hilariously staring at a package in the morning and saying, 'You never know with these girls if it's a sex toy or a bug bite suction tool.'
Then it cut to Kelly Bensimon, who set up an ice bath for her face with Martin, the house manager.
She said the ice-cold water left her face looking 'frozen,' and she compared it to her morning 'mask.'
'Look at you! You look like a baby,' Martin exclaimed as she pulled her face out of the water.
After the credits, it was time for the ladies to do some morning exercises.
Kelly was ready for some yoga, but as soon as Dorinda approached she ran over to give her a long hug, which she held for an uncomfortable amount of time.
'To be chosen by Kelly — how did I earn this job?' Dorinda complained over a montage of Kelly arguing with her and complaining about her earlier in the trip. 'Don't pick me.'
While they work out, Kristen stays in bed and wears face masks.
Dorinda eventually comes inside and Kristen confesses that she wants to try to get closer to Kelly, who she says is 'not connecting' with the other ladies.
Kelly started her day with an ice bath for her face to cut down on puffiness
While wearing a face mask, Kristen complained to Dorinda that Kelly was aloof with the other women
Ramona interrupted them to show off her striking two piece suit with plenty of cleavage, which she said made her look like a 'Bond girl'
But Dorinda urged her to 'let [Kelly] Kelly worry about that.' She said Kelly wasn't great at 'communicating' but did excel at 'deflecting' and 'self-isolating.'
Then Luann arrives in the house in a striking bikini showing off her stellar figure, but Ramona steals the show when she jumps out in an orange-and-white bikini bottom and a matching top that she said made her look like a 'Bond girl.'
'Watch out Denise Richards, there's another Bond girl in town,' Luann said in confessional to rib the former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star.
Next up, Martin arrived to give the itinerary for the day, and Ramona took the opportunity to try out some of her seemingly limited French with him.
On the schedule first was surfing lessons at the beach, followed by a scavenger hunt and then dinner back near the sea at Manapany.
But before leaving, Luann got in a dig at Sonja by complaining that it 'smells like s***' in one of the rooms because she allegedly wouldn't close the bathroom door when she was using it.
Once the ladies were at the beach, they instantly began flirting with their two hunky surfing instructors.
Dorinda bristled once it was time to go out on the water, as she was excited to try surfing again but Kristen seemed to patronize her when she suggested Dorinda take a surfboard that would be easier to manage.
Next up was surfing lessons, where the ladies flirted with their hunky instructors
Kristen annoyed Dorinda when she patronizingly suggested she pick an 'easier' surfboard, as she made herself sound like a pro
But Kristen ended up being the worst of the surfers, while Dorinda did better at getting on the board. 'The only person who clearly needs the easy surf board — or no surf board — is you, Kristen,' Dorinda shot back
It was an ironic suggestion, as Dorinda appeared to be much more successful at standing up on her board that Kristen was, even though Kristen had bragged in the confessional about how much she enjoyed surfing.

But Kristen tried to defend herself by saying she was out of practice.
Kelly seemed to have fun in the waves as well, and she recalled a horror film titled Innocence that she appeared in in which her character went out with her daughter for some surfing and drowned at sea.
The surfing lessons ended up being even more embarrassing for Kristen, as she capped them off by injuring one of her big toes.
She had bashed it against the wet, tightly packed snow, which pulled her toenail almost completely off.
She revealed that she had badly stubbed her a while earlier, but then a night of dancing a few days earlier had left her already injured toe nail loose.
Kristen accidentally pulled her big toe nail almost completely up. She said she had stubbed it badly some time earlier, but dancing two nights earlier had loosened it, and this was the final straw
A medic said it would need to come off, and she squealed with pain and he cut away the excess tissue with a scalpel before using scissors to cut away at the nail
It hurt so much that Kristen put her finger in her mouth to bite down on it
Sonja pretended to vomit from the injury
The surfing injury was the last straw, and now her nail was sticking up slightly and was only barely being held on just below the cuticle.
She sat in a lounge chair while a medic attended to her toe and said the nail would have to come off now that it had been pulled so far off.
Kristen called out for some emergency 'rosé' as the medic first washed the sand away from under the raised nail before he started to pry it up, which caused Sonja Morgan to make some fake heaving noise while Ramona looked sick to her stomach.
Kristen squealed from the pain of having her toe nail pried back, and she went so far as to place one of her index fingers in her mouth so that she could bite down on it.
Things got more gruesome when the medic took out a scalpel to sever the remaining tissue connected to the bottom of the nail, and then he pulled out a pair of heavy duty scissors to cut it off completely.
Luckily, since the nail had been separating from the skin for some time after the initial injury, there wasn't any significant blood, but Kristen looked like she was in significant pain.
Afterward, all the other ladies sat under one cabana drinking and chatting, while she was left along under the neighboring one.
'So sympathetic, this group,' she muttered sarcastically.
Later, Kelly had a heart-to-heart with Dorinda about her fiancé Scott Litner, even though Dorinda admitted in confessional that she didn't even realize Kelly had gotten engaged.
Later, Kelly revealed that her fiancé Scott Litner had written her one love letter per day that she would be on the trip
The ladies then had to do a scavenger hunt, with the group broken up into two groups
Luann hilariously dived into a pool to get a necessary toy boat, even though it destroyed her wireless microphone
They ended up being tied, but Kristen shouted out the tie-breaking clue, scoring a win for herself, Kelly and Sonja
She said Scott had written her one love letter for each day she would be away, and she read a sample one to her frenemy, which Dorinda admitted was sweet.
Next up was the scavenger hunt. Martin had prepared clues for the women, who were split in two groups of three. Among the items they searched for were a plastic wine glass, to commemorate when Ramona threw one at Kristen's face, and a prosthetic leg hidden under a lounge chair.
They even found a disgusting bag of teeth, which poked fun at the multiple teeth, veneers and implants that Sonja has seemingly lost in mishaps on RHONY.
Luann was particularly dramatic when they found their next item — a toy boat floating in the pool — and she dived into the water to get it.
A producer could hilariously be heard shouting in vain that she was going to destroy her microphone, but she didn't hear her before diving in.
In the confessional, Dorinda poked fun at Luann for her show-stopping dive, as she could have just walked to the other side of the pool and grabbed the boat from the edge.
The two groups ended up being tied, and the tie breaker was a video call with Harry Dubin.
His riddle include the word 'legacy' as the answer, to tie in with the season's 'RHONY Legacy' subtitle, and Kristen was the first to shout it out, so she, Kelly and Sonja emerged victorious.
However, the prize was just a $100 gift certificate to the Loews Regency hotel, which disappointed all of them.
Later, the women were getting ready for dinner when Sonja said she wanted to wear a T-shirt that said 'Give Thanks, Eat Pie' on the chest.
Later at dinner, the women revealed how they fell in love with their ex-husbands, though Luann interrupted things when she fell backward in her chair on the uneven sand
Kelly shared that her ex Gilles put her engagement ring on her while she slept, only for her to awaken with a bloody hand because the diamonds were set too low and had sliced her fingers up
Dorinda shared how she wouldn't let her ex move in without a ring, so one day she arrived home to find a minister and her then-partner telling her they were going to get married at town hall that day
Ramona shot it down, and then asked her daughter on the phone if the shirt would be acceptable.
'She wants to wear a shirt that says 'American Pie,' she said.
Then Sonja corrected her: 'No, it says 'Eat My Pie,' despite the double entendre going even further than the actual shirt.
But Ramona's daughter wasn't interested in getting in the middle of their argument.
'OK mom, I love you,' she said curtly and hung up.
At dinner, Luann marveled that 'cigarettes' were on the menu, before urging her costars to spill how they got engaged or fell in love with their former husbands.
Kelly shared that her ex-husband Gilles Bensimon, the famous fashion photographer, had woken her up one morning to a scratching feeling on her finger.
She opened her eyes to see her hand bleeding profusely, as he had slipped an engagement ring on her finger while she slept, but the diamonds were set too long on the band and had sliced her fingers while he tried to get it on her.
She praised him as an 'incredible artist,' but said he 'just wasn't a good human' to her.
She was optimistic that things would be 'different' with Scott, though she said she hoped he didn't think she was 'Betty Crocker.'
Dorinda then revealed how she wouldn't move in with her ex Ralph Lynch until he proposed to her.
Then one day she arrived home to find a minister in her living room, and her future husband said he wanted to go to town hall immediately to tie the knot.
'We are getting married today, and we're gonna go down to town hall. You're like a race horse in a stable,' she recounted him saying.
Sonja thought her story was similar, but she was so long-winded that the producers revealed that they cut out 12 minutes of the story, even though hardly any time appeared to have passed
Luanna and Kristen mocked her for digressions about dog poop, before she shared that her ex had told her he would give her a ring immediately
After Luann fell, all the women except Kelly and Sonja went to the bathroom to gossip about Sonja's story, which they thought was mostly made up and 'embellished'
Kelly looked bored out of her mind as Sonja concluded by claiming she conceived the first night that they had sex
Next up was Sonja, who thought her story was similar.
She recounted a date with her ex-husband John Adams Morgan, in which he hit his head on a taxi on their way to dinner and tried to stanch the bleeding with toilet paper.
Then she was embarrassed because he didn't tip for a good table at the fancy restaurant, so they sat near tourists while her friends ate at better tables at the front.
He then drove her home, but the show poked fun at her long-winded story by cutting out 12 minutes, even though it sounded as if she had barely progressed in her story.
There were more excised sections and she talked about walking the dog with her future husband, but Kristen and Luann got caught up with the unromantic detail about picking up the dog's poop.
'What happened to the ring?' Luann interrupted.
'The ring was in the poop,' Kristen joked.
Sonja's story climaxed with her saying, 'What, are you gonna marry me?' to John, at which point he said yes.
A week later she had the ring, but she still hadn't slept with him, which shocked Ramona.
'You're engaged and you've yet to have his penis in you?!' she shouted.
Luann interrupted the end of the story by accidentally falling back in her chair on the uneven sand.
She and all but Kelly and Sonja then went to the bathroom, but they mostly gossiped about Sonja's long-winded story, which was a complete 'fairytale,' as far as they were concerned.
'It truly reminded me of being eight years old and sitting in front of the Disney Channel on Sunday night when they'd be like, "Tonight on Disney,' and the fairy comes out and goes "Ting!"' Dorinda said in confessional. 'Because this is not true.'
While they were away, Sonja shared the ending of her story to Kelly alone, who looked completely bored.
She claimed that she conceived on the first night that she had sex with John.
'I don't know why Sonja embellishes stories,' Ramona said while back in the bathroom. 'Maybe it's because she wishes that's what they really were.'
After they returned, Sonja had her own mishap and fell backward just like Luann did, though it wasn't clear if it was an accident or an attempt to steal attention.
Luann joked that she didn't want to see her 'pretty kitty' again after seeing it in the flesh multiple times on RHONY, but luckily Luann had underwear on.
However, that seemed to get Kristen in a playful mood, and she then pulled her top up for a quick flash of her bare breasts.
Dorinda and Luann were in the mood to lose some clothing, so they both took their tops off for a stroll by the water, with Kelly deciding to get in on the Bohemian fun.
Kristen wasn't willing to completely strip down, but she did flash her breasts again.
Sonja then oddly had her own mishap and fell back in her chair
Something about that made Kristen feel playful, and she then flashed her bare breasts to everyone at the table
Luann and Kelly both got in the mood and stripped out of their tops for a stroll by the beach
Dorinda joined them and even took a soak in the sea after showing off her breasts
