Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles sits just two days away, but a different NFL platform took center stage on Thursday night.
NFL Honors kicked off on Thursday night with some of the biggest names in the sport flocking to New Orleans for the event. Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and wife Christen Harper broke major news by announcing they're pregnant with their first child while posing on the red carpet.
Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby was in the house as well, up for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year award - which went to Jacksonville Jaguars star Arik Armstead.

Earlier this week Crosby opened up on the new culture the Raiders are building under new head coach Pete Carroll, general manager John Spytek - and the veteran leadership of minority owner Tom Brady.
“I’ve had doubts in the past,” Crosby said. “I feel like this past year was the hardest part of my career. Battling through injury the whole year, struggling, losing 10 games in a row. Up here, it makes you start questioning a lot of things.”
He went on to say this new regime makes him the "most optimistic" he's been.
But that's not the only comment that captured attention this week. On Thursday night Crosby revealed his Super Bowl prediction with just one word.
"Philly."
In regards to his future with the Raiders, Crosby made sure not to give too much away.
"I'm truly -- and I'm not just saying this to be like politically correct -- I'm literally taking it one day at a time," he said earlier this week.
Despite battling injuries, Crosby earned his fourth Pro Bowl nod this past season with 7.5 sacks, 17 tackles for loss.
