Raiders predicted to finally sign $80 million former Pro Bowl wide receiver in free agency - suong

The Las Vegas Raiders have yet to address the wide receiver position this offseason. Outside of Jakobi Meyers, the team lacked reliable production in the receiver room in 2024, and general manager John Spytek should look to add another playmaker for quarterback Geno Smith.

The 2025 NFL Draft is filled with exciting and talented pass-catchers, but Pro Football Network's Mark Stolte predicts the Raiders will sign Chicago Bears free agent wide receiver Keenan Allen to pair with Meyers and All-Pro tight end Brock Bowers.

"Keenan Allen did not look the part last season in Chicago, but a veteran quarterback and a new change of scenery could certainly help get him back on track. He is a smooth-operating route runner and could help mentor some of the younger pass-catchers on the team as well," Stolte wrote.

Allen had a down year in 2024 for his standards, as the veteran tallied 70 receptions for 744 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games. The 32-year-old served as the No.2 wide receiver in Chicago's offense behind D.J. Moore.

Though Allen isn't very dynamic anymore, the six-time Pro Bowler is still a savvy route runner who would be an excellent security blanket and intermediate threat for Smith in the Raiders' offense. Allen has totaled five seasons with over 100 catches in his career, including a career-high 108 receptions during his final year with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023.

Additionally, Allen shouldn't be too expensive to sign, as Spotrac projects the former Day 2 pick will land a two-year deal worth $22.2 million, which averages to $11.1 million annually.

Las Vegas still has a good chunk of cap space left to spend, and with receiver being one of their most pressing needs, signing Keenan Allen to a reasonable deal to serve as the No.3 pass-catching option behind Bowers and Meyers would be a logical move by general manager John Spytek.
