Rookie tight end Brock Bowers just finished up a historic debut campaign with the Las Vegas Raiders.
In his first professional season as the No. 13 overall pick out of Georgia, Bowers reeled in 112 catches for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns. His 112 grabs mark a new all-time NFL rookie record for receptions in a single season.
Bowers is being recognized for his stellar season. On Friday, the NFL announced the 2024 AP First Team All-Pro list.
Bowers got the First Team TE nod in his first NFL season.
The Raiders took to social media to respond to this announcement with a simple message.
"Generational," the team wrote on X.
"First down. First season. First-Team All-Pro," the Raiders added in a later post.
Despite Bowers' historic rookie season, the Raiders finished their 2024 regular-season campaign with a disappointing 4-13 record. Las Vegas struggled with issues at the quarterback position throughout the year, cycling through three different QB options.
Following the Raiders' Week 18 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the franchise fired head coach Antonio Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco.
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is a heavy favorite to take home the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award, but Bowers currently holds No. 2 position in the betting odds.
Bowers will look to continue his already-impressive NFL career when he returns to the field for Year 2 with the Raiders in 2025.
