Two new suitors have been introduced on The Golden Bachelorette, and they’re two gentlemen we know quite well, according to Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Jimmy Kimmel shared an edited clip from a recent Golden Bachelorette episode that showed the suitors praising Joan Vassos. But the stakes are getting high as four contestants were eliminated during Wednesday’s (Sept. 25) episode. As Kimmel explained it, “Six were eliminated, four died of natural causes… The stakes are as high as their testicles are low.”

The Golden Bachelorette puts a new spin on ABC’s long-running franchise; in this case, the star and her suitors are all in their 50s and up.

The clip shows several of Vassos’ potential suitors praising her looks and “grace.” And two particular gentlemen also had some kind words to share – contestants President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris‘ running mate, Tim Walz.

“She really does look like royalty,” Golden Bachelorette contestant Gregg, a 64-year-old retired university vice president, said in a confessional.

President Biden, 81, also had some praise. “She has the energy, she has the intelligence, she has the grit, she has the stamina,” he said. Of course, the quote is from his recent appearance on The View in which he praised Harris’ capabilities.

Walz, 60, was also very enthusiastic in his praise for Harris (or Vassos). “She’s making it easier to form a union… I’m just very excited about it,” he said with a giggle.

Kimmel ribbed the new ABC series for its “prostate-busting” competition. He pointed out just how logistically difficult it must be to decide which of the contestants will get the top bunk, considering most of them will probably have to use the bathroom during the middle of the night.

“They’re lined up outside of the men’s room like it’s a Lakers game at 4 a.m.,” he joked.

The Golden Bachelorette is entering its third week without fan-favorite Jack Lencioni, who even Kimmel says he fell “in love” with this week.

Now, Vassos has 14 potential suitors to choose from – not including Walz and President Biden, of course.

New episodes of The Golden Bachelorette premiere Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
