Captain Sandy Yawn revealed she married fiancée Leah Shafer in a romantic ceremony on a superyacht. The Below Deck Mediterranean star also addressed whether it was captured by Bravo cameras.

Sandy, 59, popped the question in September of last year, five years after the pair started dating. Leah, 50, who changed her last name to Yawn, is a country recording artist.

“On May 11th, 2024 I married the love of my life,” wrote Captain Sandy in a May 14 Instagram post. “I had no idea how amazing marriage could be! It feels incredible and I feel like the luckiest woman in the world.”

“I love you, Leah Rae Yawn!! Thank you for taking my name,” the star continued. “Thank you to our entire family and friends for coming out to show your love and support to our relationship.”

She posted photos of the ceremony and addressed whether it was captured by Bravo.

“If you’re wondering, Yes it was filmed. Thank you to our Bravo family,” she said. “We love you. Stay tuned June 3rd on below deck med. @nadinerajabi thank you for marrying us, we love you.”

In a past interview with E! News, Sandy opened up about the proposal.

“I knew from the minute I met her, but the timing had to be right. I wanted to make sure we could truly do life together first,” she said at the time. “I shared my vision list of love I had written and wanted, then got on one knee. Then she said ‘yes!'”
