Philadelphia Fan Drunkenly Harassed Robert Saleh Highlighting Eagles’ Bad Playoff Behavior - suong

NFL coach Robert Saleh pictured beside Philadelphia Eagles fans.Philadelphia advanced to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs with a 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers. Unfortunately, that win has been overshadowed by the actions of Eagles fans.

Multiple incidents have made waves on social media. Nobody on the visiting side could be shielded from the hostility in Lincoln Financial Field.

That included Robert Saleh. The former New York Jets head coach has been helping Green Bay as a consultant since being fired midseason.

According to Packers beat writer Matt Schneidman, one supporter of the home team was heard yelling obscenities in Saleh’s direction in the press box. She drunkenly attacked his baldness as he sat in the booth.

We’ve lost contain here in the press box. Drunk woman who’s an Eagles fan right in front of the window is heckling Robert Saleh and other bald folks in our row and calling them “bald motherf—–s.”

The hate wasn’t contained to Saleh alone. All follicly-challenged Packers media members were targeted, too.

Robert Saleh is a consultant for the Packers and was in the row above me. I was sitting next to several bald Packers beat writers. All of them got the smoke.

That incident wasn’t the only one on record from Sunday night’s win.

Eagles fan caught on video berating female visitor.

The action on the field was largely uneventful. Even players seemed bored on the sidelines, with one Eagles star picking up a book for some light reading in between drives.

The scene in the stands, however, was much different.

Video shows an Eagles fan explicitly heckling the woman as she cheered on Green Bay. Her fiancé captured the moment and quickly posted to social media.

The clip shows just a short instance without context leading into the altercation. The couple claims that the Eagles fan was the aggressor, coming after them unprovoked for simply rooting on the visiting team.

It’s not the best look for the Philly faithful, which prides itself on creating a hostile environment for opposing teams. Some members of the fanbase may have overstepped this weekend.
