Peter Laviolette calls out several New York Rangers following ongoing slump during crucial moments

Peter LavioletteThe New York Rangers came out on top against the Minnesota Wild, 5-4. But it wasn't in regulation, and Peter Laviolette came out swinging at his Jonny Brodzinski and Gabe Perreault during a postgame interview.

The New York Rangers are 36-32-7 in the Eastern Conference, 4th in the Metropolitan Division.
They're now within two points of the Montreal Canadiens' second wild-card spot in the East, who are at 81. They will have to improve their power-play.
That means in all scenarios, and zones on the ice as Peter Laviolette wasn't shy to criticize Jonny Brodzinski, and Gabe Perreault.

Both players are the team's 2nd power-play unit and were unable to score and were "noticeable" according to Laviolette.
In the case of Gabe Perreault and Jonny Brodzinski being "noticeable" on the ice, Laviolette wasn't wrong to call them out.
Perreault played 13:38 TOI against the Wild, and came out of the contest with a -1, 3 shots on goal, 2 giveaways, and played a total of 20 shifts.
Those statistics suggest he's still adjusting to the NHL ice, and will continue to have a chance to do so, will Laviolette gives him a look over forward Brennan Othmann.
While Brodzinski's night didn't turn out much better against the Wild, with a -1, 3 shots on goal, 2 giveaways, 17:14 TOI, and 23 shifts played.
He contributed positively in the face-off circle with a 50% winning percentage in the circle.
But was unable to make contributions further than that.
Will Brodzinski and rookie Gabe Perreault overcome their failures against the Minnesota Wild when they face the New Jersey Devils tomorrow at 12:30 PM?
