Patricia Altschul was feeling the love as she marked another year around the sun.
The Southern Charm matriarch rang in her 84th birthday on Wednesday, April 16, with her longtime friend Renvy Graves Pittman. Patricia marked the occasion with an April 17 Instagram photo, showing her and the interior decorator posing side-by-side in Patricia’s iconic Charleston home.
“[Renvy] and I celebrate our birthdays together every year,” she captioned the post.
The Instagram received thousands of likes and over 100 celebratory comments.
“Happy Birthday to two extraordinary women whose grace, elegance and kindness have no bounds,” wrote her close friend Dr. Eddie Irons, the husband of Southern Charm-er Ryan Albert. “Let the festivities never end!”
Patricia and Renvy closed their special day with an intimate dinner alongside Eddie, Ryan, and Patricia's son, Whitney Sudler-Smith.
Patricia Altschul makes a "confession" about her age
Fans got a look at Patricia and Renvy’s friendship in Southern Charm Season 10, Episode 4, when the ladies hosted a joint birthday dinner. Attendees included Ryan and Eddie, as well as Shep Rose, Austen Kroll, and Madison LeCroy.
“I’ll make a confession. I’ve lied about my age all these years. I’m 108,” Patricia joked in the episode before revealing her secrets to maintaining a youthful appearance. “I think your dermatologist is your best friend. And, also, the dentist. I go every three months because if you don’t take care of your teeth, I think that makes you look old.”
“Whatever you’re doing, continue to do it,” Shep told Patricia, to which she replied, “Martinis. Martinis are the key.”
