Paige DeSorbo says the ”Summer House” season 9 reunion was very different from past reunions.
In a May 2025 interview with Us Weekly, the Bravo TV veteran teased that the cast got along while filming the season-ending sitdown with host Andy Cohen.
“I think this was one of the first reunions like, collectively, that we’ve had that there were a lot of laughing breaks,” DeSorbo shared. “Like there was just a lot of things that happened over the summer that wasn’t, had nothing to do with drama, that was just funny and like fun for a group of friends.”
“So we, Andy like truly laughed so much at this reunion that like there were times where he was like ‘Okay, come on, we have to get serious and like do this,’” the “Summer House” star added.
Paige DeSorbo Was Good With All of the Cast Members at the Reunion
While the reunion sneak peek shows DeSorbo is in the hot seat when talking about her split from her ex, Craig Conover, she noted that her difficult year put her in a good place with her co-stars.
“This was actually one of my first reunions I was going in and I was like ‘Wait I’m not fighting with any of you. I like don’t even care about you guys,’” she recalled. “Like so, it was a different experience.”
“So it was really me like talking to me Andy, asking me questions, and me like, you know, telling my side or whatever,” she added. “But I felt like with my cast, I actually felt so supported by them and I feel like it brought me closer to them. Because it really just did reiterate, like, at the end of the day, we have such a special bond because we filmed a TV show together for like 9 years now. And I feel like this reunion really kind of showed that, like how close we always will be.”
A ‘Summer House’ Star Said Something ‘Big’ Happened at the Reunion
While DeSorbo didn’t share any major reunion spoilers, cast member Jesse Solomon previously teased that something unexpected happened at the reunion. During an Amazon Livestream Q&A with fans, Solomon teased, “I would say there was, like, a big announcement that we were all very surprised by, but I can’t tell you what.”
Veteran cast member Lindsay Hubbard teased something similar. “I think we hit every emotion at the reunion,” Hubbard told Us Weekly in early May. “I think that there are a lot of things that you might expect to happen, but things are unexpected as an outcome.”
