Carina claims Billy asked her to pretend to be his girlfriend at the MAFS Australia reunion dinner party. Honestly, you couldn’t make this stuff up.
She told Yahoo that Billy suggested they showed up to the reunion together, and faked being a couple. Carina said: “I was like, ‘Absolutely not’.
“I’m not one of those girls, I’m not doing that and I don’t have those types of feelings. As a friendship, absolutely, but I’m not stirring any pot.”
Carina said she liked being friends with Billy, but wasn’t willing to fake being his girlfriend for attention. She continued: “I actually sat next to Billy [at the reunion dinner party] because I have a good friendship with him. He’s a nice dude, easy to banter with, easy to get along with, and he’s from Perth, so we’re living in the same city.” She clarified that they’re “very much just friends”.

Apparently Billy initially tried to get Beth to be his fake girlfriend at the MAFS reunion, but she turned him down, so he resorted to Carina instead.
An inside source apparently told the Daily Mail Australia: “Billy really liked Carina. And let’s just say he and Paul never got along. He always thought Paul was foul and didn’t deserve someone as cool as Carina.”
Billy and Carina were photographed together at an AirBnB in Sydney before filming the reunion episodes.
I recon it’s a good thing that Billy and Carina didn’t go through with this plan. If any more couple swaps happen among the MAFS Australia 2025 cast, my head might explode.
