It looks like the next generation is raring to go! Next Gen NYC is in full swing, and Gia Giudice had a bit of fun pranking her famous mom, Teresa Giudice of Real Housewives of New Jersey, while at a photoshoot for her new show.
Gia was joined by Brooks Marks, son of Meredith Marks from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City . The two were prank-calling family members and having a blast while doing it. It certainly is interesting to see the fun dynamic of the children of the Real Housewives.

Next Gen NYC, originally teased as Making it in Manhattan, is Bravo’s new show dropping in June. The show is led by Gia, Brooks, Ariana Biermann, and Riley Burruss, the kids of Bravo’s Real Housewives, along with some new faces. Essentially, the show will be introducing the new generation of Bravolebrities.
Here’s hoping they don’t run into the same level of drama as their famous parents!
And speaking of famous parents, Gia has a bit of a laugh with her mom Teresa, while on set. The two have a fantastic relationship. Gia called her mom, and when Teresa answered, Gia quickly said she had to go and that she was doing something and hung up.
“Hi!” Gia said. “I have to go. I’m actually doing something. I’m filming for the show.”
Teresa simply said “Okay,” and didn’t ask any further questions. When Gia called her again and did the same thing, she simply said, “Bye.” Looks like her mom was unfazed. After all, Teresa knows what it’s like shooting on busy sets. Plus, she’s all for supporting Gia’s new reality endeavor.
However, by the third time Gia called and hung up on her, the RHONJ star knew what was happening. She knew it must be some sort of prank or some part of the filming. Ever the TV pro, she simply texted Gia that she better not be filming her.
“She just texted me, ‘You look so good and you better not be filming me with this color in my hair,’” Gia shared. It’s a very Teresa concern to have. And she didn’t need to worry, because no one could really see her clearly in the video.
