NFL Makes Myles Garrett Announcement After Dolphins-Browns Game

The Cleveland Browns have had a dreadful season from start to finish, but if there’s one bright spot and glimmer of hope, it’s the presence of No. 95, Myles Garrett, on the defensive side of the ball.

Week in and week out, Garrett gives everything he has, consistently proving himself to be one of, if not the most dominant and talented players in the NFL.

His ability to remain consistent year after year speaks to his work ethic, skill, and talent. Despite the Browns vying for a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Garrett could very well walk away with the Defensive Player of the Year award when it’s all said and done.

In Week 17, Garrett made history with a monumental accomplishment. After recording his 14th sack of the season, the NFL announced that Garrett is the only player in NFL history to have four consecutive seasons with 14+ sacks, further cementing his legacy as one of the game's elite defenders.

In 2021, he had 16, in 2022, he had 16, in 2023, he had 14, and now after Sunday’s loss, with one game remaining in the season, he has 14. Over the course of four straight seasons, he has established himself in the history books with several significant accomplishments, but the consistency and durability to maintain such a high level of performance year after year is truly remarkable.

As he nears the end of another season, it will be interesting to see how he approaches his future with the Browns. He has been vocal about his desire for the organization to have a clear plan in place, committed to getting better and winning.

With the disappointing season Cleveland has had, his commitment to the franchise and his future with them could hinge on how seriously the Browns take these next steps.
