Charlie Zakkour was arrested for drug possession and trespassing in Miami Beach on March 9, 2014.
Following the news of the 30-year-old Next Gen NYC cast member’s past bankruptcy filing, in which he claimed to have no assets, no job, and just $1,500 in the bank, fans are learning of his past arrest, which was suddenly scrubbed from his record just months after he was taken into custody.
According to the court records obtained by The U.S. Sun on July 9, Charlie was charged with trespassing after a warning and cannabis possession, and he was released the next day after posting bond. Then, on April 1, 2024, Charlie pleaded not guilty to all charges.
While prosecutors sought evidence and set a hearing for his case, it was discharged weeks later, on May 20, before being listed as Nolle Prosequi, meaning that Charlie could have been recharged at a later date.
Over the past few weeks, Charlie’s behavior on Next Gen NYC has raised some serious questions from fans, especially after he was accused of using “microaggressions” against his co-star, Riley Burruss, 22, who accused him of painting a narrative that she was a “scary Black girl.”
Charlie also engaged in a heated argument with his former friend, Georgia McCann, 25, after she failed to return his speakers in a timely fashion, slamming her as a “stupid delusional b*tch” and telling her that if she was a man, he would have hit her.
“If you were a man, I’d slap you in the face right now,” he declared.
Next Gen NYC season one airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
