New York Rangers top trade target Isaac Howard has just been dealt in a shocking trade from the Tampa Bay Lightning, and it's certainly something fans didn't see coming.
Recently the New York Rangers have been linked to Isaac Howard and many proposed trade's have emerged such as a one-for-one swap, which we would see Isaac Howard, a former 1st-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning would be traded for defenseman Braden Schneider.
Schneider would bolster the Tampa Bay Lightning's blue line and could be given a fair shot at a spot in the lineup by Jon Cooper.
While the Rangers certainly need scoring help, Howard could be a middle-six winger who could provide depth scoring that's been sorely lacking this season.
Isaac Howard has officially been traded
However, that wont be the case as Isaac Howard has officially been traded to the Edmonton Oilers for exchange of forward Sam O'Reilly.
