It appears that change was needed after the Rangers had lost two there original six rivals the Toronto Maple Leafs by a score of 4-3.

His new units appear to be a little more balanced as he attempts to spread out his offence and hopes to get goals from both power play one and power plays two.
After last night's game, the Rangers currently sits 25th in the league when it comes to power play percentage which sits at 18.4% efficiency. By contrast their penalty killing is in the top 10 as it currently sits 6th overall at 82.2% efficiency.
