It was imperative for the Vancouver Canucks to acquire young talent coming back to the organization and decided that Mancini was the player they wanted to target.
«So many good memories,» Mancini said of his time with the Rangers, via Peter Baugh of The Athletic. «They helped allow me to reach my potential. They gave me a shot, and I think I took advantage of it.»

«There's a lot of emotions, but overall just really excited.»

Mancini has played eight games for the Vancouver Canucks since his arrival and has had two assists and a + 1 along with two penalty minutes and played 14 minutes and 57 seconds of average ice time. He was drafted by the Rangers in 2022, in the fifth round 159th overall.

Miller, meanwhile, has integrated well with the Rangers since the trade was made earlier this year. Miller felt that he needed a fresh start after all the issues surrounding himself and Canucks forward Elias Pettersson.

Since his arrival, he has played 21 games, scored eight goals with 12 assists for 20 points and has a + 2 with 18 minutes and 36 seconds of average ice time.
Miller's second stint with the Rangers has a great addition as he gets to play with his lifelong friend Vincent Trocheck as both players grew up in the Pittsburgh area and not far from each other's childhood home.
After defeating the Canucks 5-3, the Rangers now will go on the road to take on the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks. Their first stop is in Los Angeles where they will take on the Kings on Tuesday March 25th and game time will be 10:30 PM eastern.
