NeNe Leakes cuts a stylish figure in NYC after dishing on possible return to RHOA

NeNe Leakes was spotted putting on a stylish display as she stepped out in New York City on Friday ahead of her appearance on The Tamron Hall Show.

The TV personality, 57 - who sparked plastic surgery rumors a few months earlier - has also hinted at a possible return to Real Housewives Of Atlanta following her exit from the Bravo series in 2020.

The star flashed a cheerful smile upon arriving to the studio wearing a pair of fitted, black leggings as well as long-sleeved, black shirt.

She layered the ensemble with a fuzzy jacket to help keep her warm in the chilly temperatures.

Leakes slipped into a pair of black, combat boots and later switched to a pair of heels during the busy day.

NeNe's long locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

The star held a big grin as she struck a few lighthearted poses before and after the taping as she was greeted by fans awaiting outside. 

It comes not long after the reality star dished on her possible return to RHOA and listed a few conditions while talking to TMZ during her trip to the Big Apple this week.

Leakes also shared her response to Wicked actress, Cynthia Erivo, revealing that she was a fan of NeNe and expressed her wishes to have her back on the show. 

'I am a NeNe Leakes fan. I love her. Where is she? Bring her back,' she stated during an interview with W Magazine last week.  

'So many people were sending it me,' NeNe said of Erivo's RHOA comments. The TV personality then gave a special shout to the actress and said, 'Cynthia, I love you! Thank you so much, and I totally agree.' 

Leakes also talked about the number of viewers and fans of the Bravo series - which began airing in 2008. 

NeNe made an appearance on the show since the first season but exited in 2020 amid a contract dispute. 

Two years later, she notably sued the network as well as Andy Cohen for allegations of racism and a toxic work environment. However, just months later, she dismissed the lawsuit and claims.

She continued that, 'It was a pleasure to see that Cynthia loves The Real Housewives Of Atlanta and that she in particularly loved NeNe Leakes.' 

The star was then asked about returning to RHOA and she replied with, 'I don't know. If the opportunity was right, and the check was on point, why not?' 

Last year in February 2024, TMZ reported that NeNe would not be returning for the 16th season of the hit show, and had not talked to producers of the series at the time.

That same month, RHOA castmate Kenya Moore opened up about rumors of Leakes' return to the show on The Tamron Hall Show, per Deadline. 

'I don't know, I can't answer that. That question has been asked a lot of times but according to our boss, that door is closed. But you know, you never know.' 

While NeNe's return to RHOA is still up in the air, she has since been focused on other business endeavors. 

The TV personality whisked herself to NYC to promote her upcoming podcast with Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star, Sierra Glamshop, titled Me & My Homegirl.

The first episode is slated to premiere later this month on January 16, with the second part releasing on January 30. 

During her latest interview with TMZ, Leakes discussed what fans and viewers can expect with the new podcast. 

'You can expect us to keep it 1,000% real. We're gonna talk about any and everything. Nothing is off limits - from pop culture, to relationships, to love, to finances.'

'And every now and then, we may have guests that pop in, but we don't want that to be our focus,' she added.
