Mika Zibanejad addresses the New York Rangers situation as they face elimination

Following Wednesday nights game, several Rangers players spoke with the media on how the night turned into a disaster. However, Mika Zibanejad was faced with the real question from Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
Mika Zibanejad on #NYR facing elimination tomorrow night on Long Island:

"We haven't really helped ourselves, let's be honest. We haven't really helped ourselves over the last couple weeks. We've been getting some chances and I felt a couple weeks ago like it was in our hands still to take care of the games that we had. But we weren't able to do that and that's why we're in this position. We're not in this position solely because of tonight. It stings. It's frustrating."

Hard not to agree with the guy, definitely a problem that has been surrounding the team the entire season. Certainly unfortunate that Mika was faced with this question as he produce four points in last nights performance.
However, the New York Rangers will take on the New York Islanders at 7:30PM, as they face elimination.
