Meredith Marks Still Confused Over Fight With Mary Cosby-quang

Season 5 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is introducing us to a new Mary Cosby. This Mary participates in group activities. And she shows up at events instead of snacking on fast food alone in a Sprinter van. Now that Mary once again has her snowflake, she is confident and part of the group. But that left Meredith Marks wondering what happened to the previous version of Mary. Before, Mary couldn’t get enough of Meredith. Now it looks like there is a snowball’s chance in hell that this friendship can be revived.

Why is Mary Cosby angry at Meredith Marks on RHOSLC?

During Season 4 of RHOSLC, Meredith was Mary’s only friend in the cast. Now Angie Katsanevas is Mary’s new bestie. “Suddenly when she’s feeling comfortable with the other women who she hadn’t had a comfort zone with, anyone other than me for the last few years, all of a sudden then it’s like I got attacked,” Meredith previously stated.

Meanwhile, in the Season 5 RHOSLC trailer, we saw glimpses of the former friends arguing. During one scene, Mary tells Meredith, “You’re not always the victim.” Then she added, “Have a good day.” Meredith responded, “Yeah, you used me for three years. I got the memo.” Brrr … that’s cold!

Next, the group was at a dinner at Mary’s house. “You’re a sneaky, little snarky, little something,” Mary said to Meredith. “Get out of my house!” Yikes!

“I’d love to tell you what the problem was,” Meredith told PEOPLE. “I still don’t understand why Mary and I even got into a fight. So I’m excited to tune in myself and understand it.” Meredith added that their divide “made no sense,” but she hoped that she would understand as the season unfolded.

However, it’s not all bad news for Meredith. While she may be feuding with Whitney Rose over bath bombs, she also forged connections with two new cast members. “I feel like I connected with both Britani [Bateman] and Bronwyn [Newport] at different times and in different ways,” she said.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
