The Gorga family drama continued to make people laugh (and shake their heads) when Melissa Gorga, star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, decided to share how her kids “took over” her beach house. According to Melissa, the house was once her paradise, but now it has become a “kid base” where they control everything from the living room to the kitchen.
“How everything has changed,” Melissa lamented, implying that her peaceful time was ruined by her own children.
However, not everyone sympathized with Melissa’s plight. Teresa Giudice, her famous sister-in-law (and also famously disliked by Melissa), didn’t miss the opportunity to throw in a few sharp quips.
“It’s funny to hear her talk about it like it’s the biggest problem in the world. Melissa, if you can’t stand your kids using your beach house, can you tell us how you got it in the first place?” Teresa said, with a knowing smile.
Teresa added, “Only Melissa would turn a beach house into a drama. I don’t know if she’s promoting real estate or just wants people to know she has a beach house – but either way, it’s funny!”
Melissa’s story quickly gained traction with fans, but not everyone was sympathetic. Some pointed out that complaining about being “taken over” by your own kids isn’t a big deal – especially when you’re talking about a luxury beach house.
“Melissa really needs to check what’s worth complaining about. How many people dream of owning a beach house, and here she is complaining about it because her kids enjoy it? What a luxury!” one fan commented.
Others sided with Teresa, saying that Melissa was trying to get attention and cause drama over the smallest things. “If this is how Melissa creates content for the new season of RHONJ, then there’s no point!” another quipped.
While Melissa hasn’t directly responded to Teresa’s jabs, fans believe it’s only a matter of time before she does. Given the long history of drama between the two, it wouldn’t be surprising if Melissa comes back with another story to hit back at her sister-in-law.
