Following a season to forget in 2024, the Las Vegas Raiders parted ways with former head coach Antonio Pierce. The Raiders have already interviewed multiple candidates to fill the position, including Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, who seems to be the fan favorite right now.
Star pass rusher Maxx Crosby has been vocal about the team's issues, and he is more than aware of what the Raiders need to do to be successful. On the "Good Morning Football" show, the defensive end talked about the transitions being made.
"You know, the future of the Raiders, obviously I think everybody kind of knows what's going on," Crosby said. "I mean like I said I'm there every morning, we just talked about it, and it's very eerie around there I would say, a lot of new changes and things like that."
After a disappointing 2024 season under Pierce, Crosby and the Raiders are in desperate need of a head coach who will stick around for the long-term.
"At the end of the day, the most important thing to me, like you said, is stability and winning. I want the chance to actually wind and be in those games, be playing at this time of year. I know what I bring to the table as a leader and as a player and I want everyone else on board. My main focus is being in that environment. So whoever is going to give the Raiders the best chance to do that, I'm all on board for that."
