Awhina and Adrian's relationship ended in a grey area after their confusing Final Vows, but now things are crystal clear.
Awhina revealed that she and Adrian no longer speak to one another.
She said despite maintaining a friendship when the experiment began airing, Awhina realised that wasn't what she wanted.
"That friendship didn't serve me at all. It was all for him. I've got a community behind me – I'm grounded, I'm back at work, I'm back with my family, friends, my son, I have this big, beautiful life and empathy for Adrian, but he doesn't even deserve it, so I just I cut myself off from it," she said.

As for her dating life, Awhina isn't back on the scene just yet and she was quick to shut down rumours of a relationship with fellow Perth-based groom Billy.
"Look, Billy and I are just friends! We're very close. I kind of wanted this chapter closed before I start dating again.
"I've been on the experiment to find a partner, which is really still my goal. I want to grow my family. I just I needed this chapter closed so that I could actually do it properly, and I didn't want to start anything off on the wrong foot," she shared.
Since filming the Reunion in November, Awhina said her life had mostly gone back to normal.
"I went straight back to my community, I went back to my job, I went back to kids parties on the weekend, sleepovers every second weekend. I'm just living my normal life," she shared.
Awhina knows she had a rollercoaster MAFS experience, but if given the chance she wouldn't change any of her decisions.
"When I got home from the experiment, I wanted to distance myself so far away from it... Now, I'm just grateful for this experience. I'm grateful for the friendships I built and I feel really good post-show," she said.
"I've got a really fantastic life and I'm looking forward to moving forward."
