MAFS UK’s Adam lashes out at show bosses and accuses them of cutting scenes after being slammed over sex swipe at Polly - suong

MARRIED At First Sight groom Adam Nightingale has taken a swipe at E4 show bosses around the editing of his cutting sex swipe.

The barber, 35, and careers advisor, 28, called time on their partnership on Tuesday, after failing to re-commit during the Final Vows episode.

On Wednesday, Married At First Sight viewers were left gobsmacked after a furious Polly Sellman took her rage out at her former lover in the reunion episode - before covering his stylish sage green suit in red wine.

The reunion dinner party saw the pair - who have endured a rollercoaster relationship through the 2024 series - bring up their fiery vow ceremony during which Adam stormed off after Polly accused him of being dishonest during their relationship.

Over the dinner table the pair's physical intimacy gripe again reared its head in an ugly way.

Polly, who has craved a touchy feeling connection with Adam despite him saying she wasn't his "type", shouted her views as they locked horns.

She defended calling him out and said: "Because I f**king want to."

Adam - who has prompted somewhat u-turn in public opinion after grafting with sweet dates in their relationship - starkly said: "e had sex three times in 10 weeks."

Polly, furious about him sharing intimate details in front of the group, screamed: "F**k you," before showering him in red wine.

Now Nottingham-based Adam has taken to his Instagram page to suggest there was more context behind his sexual remark that viewers didn't see.

He posted a screen grab showing him looking dull at the dinner table and the words: "I was so drunk think we all seen the eyes.

"Edit made it look like I said the sex comment out of nowhere.

"But I got accused of using her for sex and leading her on ... to the point Holly stuck up for me and said 'no he didn't, you just said you just wanted sex and you'd have been happy' or something along those lines."

Adam then posted another cryptic comment to his page and said: "If only people knew what else happened on tonight's episodes."

He then admitted he "finally took the bait" after Polly's deluge of negative remarks and wrote: "But if I did this ... my God."

He also mocked the moment - which has since gone viral - and wrote on his page: "I love red wine me!"

CLAP BACK

Polly has since broken her silence on the disastrous reunion.

She has starkly claimed the show is "like Geordie Shore and not about love."

The careers adviser, who quit her job to take part in the show, admitted producers are keen to focus on the drama.

She broke her silence on the Victoria Elaine Bridal podcast and said: "Sometimes they do ask you a bit of a stupid question and you answer it in a (sarcastic) way, and that's the bit they show.

"Even though, when you're in that moment, you think, they're asking to take the p***.

"They know why they're asking you that question, and then they have to think what that they can put that over something.

"They're very clever, but it's entertainment. That's ultimately what it's for, they've got a job to do, and we're just the puppets."
