Married At First Sight's Rhi Disljenkovic may be halfway around the world enjoying a long-awaited holiday, but the bride still has time to support her man back home.

After jetting down in Japan, Rhi took to Instagram to hype up boyfriend Jeff Gobbels as he prepared to launch a new passion project.

Jeff launched 'Jeff Eats' this week, a social media account of "simple, delicious and healthy-ish meals while having a few laughs along the way".

"I'm more nervous than excited, not gonna lie," Jeff wrote ahead of sharing his first recipe.

"How cute is Jeffy! I miss him already and I only just landed in Japan," Rhi reacted to the post, encouraging her followers to check out the page for "some easy yummy recipes we make together all the time".

Jeff teased his new venture in an interview with 9Entertainment, saying he'd "always loved cooking" and was excited to try something in that space.

"I guess one of the perks of going on a show like Married at First Sight is you get exposed to some things that you wouldn't have been exposed to unless you did the experiment," Jeff said.

"We obviously were lucky enough to walk out with an amazing relationship, but you know, we're also getting some opportunities that we wouldn't have got if we didn't do the experiment to begin with. So it's been really cool and I'm excited for the future."

From an unexpected start to a national love story.

 

Rhi is holidaying in Japan with her cousin, a trip she said they booked more than a year ago.

After previously dating in real life and having it fizzle out, Rhi and Jeff rekindled their relationship after meeting again at the altar and became Season 12's success story.

In May 2025, the couple confirmed they are not only still going strong, but are officially living together in Melbourne.

"I know we did live together in the experiment, but [moving in outside] really just cemented our strong relationship," Rhi said.

"I think that was a big step for our relationship. We came out of the experiment, and in such a short space of time, we decided to move in with each other," Jeff agreed.

"It was just really cool being able to pick out the stuff you want for your own apartment and really build a home together," he continued.

"We moved into a new place that neither of us had lived in before, so it was starting fresh. I think we probably undervalue with how important that moment was, how big that moment was for our relationship."
